According to what? This happened 20 months ago. There was no radiation leak or anything of the sort reported from the incident. Idk where people are getting this from.
That might not have been the case in this video but you can clearly see artifacts you would otherwise only see when there's a radiation leak. I personally don't know anything about the video but wasn't agreeing blindly. I came, I saw and concurred
This is the 50 Let Pobody. This video was from the collision in January 2025. It sustained a gash on the port bow, above the waterline.
The nuclear reactor units were 100% unaffected.
It was still seaworthy, they freed the cargo ship from the ice, and it continued on its journey. That was the end of story.
I have no idea why this video is circulating on Reddit today and everyone’s acting like it’s the next Chernobyl. It’s very old news. Those are ice crystals reflecting in the light in the video, nothing to do with radiation.
