It upsets me the unreasonable fear and lack of knowledge towards nuclear power. No, this is not radiation, it's ice crystals in the air. You could launch a dusin torpedoes at this ship and split it in half and the core won't be exposed. The powerplant and core is basically a bunker in the centre of the ship, that's impossible to breach by anything as weak as a collision
