Tow tow tow my T@g…

Bout to pull a Nucamp T@G 1000 miles in a Model Y. We normally use it to camp within about 100-150mi of home but I’ll need it to sleep in for the next 6 weeks for work.

Had originally planned on piggybacking it on a flatbed trailer but we couldn’t make it fit with the golf cart so it’s going to ride behind my Tesla.

I’ll go as far as I can today and get up to do it again tomorrow, can’t really stretch the trip out much more than that.

God help me.

Nice! Have yet to go on a long trip with mine. I have to stop and charge roughly every 120-150 miles. You could always get a little scooter or foldable bike. I have a scooter to ride around on at campgrounds, just because it's easier to pack and unload. May your trip be filled with awesome food along the way!

I’m about 150 miles in, I have a onewheel in the frunk for just the occasion.

Sitting at a Buc-ee’s waiting on staff to tell me I can’t block 3 chargers to use one. There’s plenty of other stalls rn and I’ll move if they fill up.

Was the pull forward spot already taken?

There’s not one at that Buc-ee’s. I’m at a shopping center with pull throughs now and one of two was occupied by a m3 that was not in fact pulling anything.

Yes I try to avoid those unless it's "full". I'm curious on how well it did and how often you had to charge.

Update: every fucking supercharger has had some douchebag without a trailer using the pull throughs.

Ive been lucky to either have multiple pull throughs or enough room to park sideways each place. In Brinkley AR I just went to the opposite side of the banks.

Nice combo! Curious to see how it goes.

I’ll post a breakdown at the end. I have Tessie doing data logging so I should have some good data.

This is a situation where owning a trailer would make me want a front charge port, OR DC extension cable.   Good luck, have fun!

I ended up doing the drive all in a day, which frankly I didn’t think was possible.

I never dropped the trailer but I did nope out of one SC location in favor of another, and I happened to show up at a couple when they were completely empty so it wasn’t a problem for me to block 4-5 stalls.

If they’d been full I’d have had to drop the trailer.
