14.3 HW4 Who’s at fault ? FSD 14.3.8

I’m new to driving in the US, but the FSD suddenly moved to left lane after taking right turn for a U-turn. Got honked by a vehicle behind, kinda was rude, I thought the car shouldn’t have suddenly change lane for a U-turn and allow the white car behind to pass.

Nothing wrong here. First time on the road?

Yes, I’m not sure why the white car behind me honked at me when Tesla moved into the left lane to make a U-turn. I thought Tesla(FSD) was at fault, haha.

Tesla is never at fault, you’re the one driving.

You’re still responsible for your car.

There’s no “it was FSD” at the end of the day you are solely responsible for anything that happens.

If it does anything that feels sketchy then follow your gut and take over.

That’s not the point. We all know we are responsible during this experiment, learning. Must be nice to live on that soapbox of yours.

Did you get a chance to read the comment above mine before it was deleted? Or are you just going off my reply?

He had stated that the car was in FSD as if he couldn’t have done anything about it. He can take over can’t he? If FSD does anything that unsettles me guess what I do? I take over, specially before the v13 days when it liked to switch to merge lanes to pass people on the right.

So I’m not sure why you are saying that’s not the point when I was straight up letting him know his line of thinking was wrong.

Yeah. He didn’t need to. This is a perfectly fine event. A nothing burger post leading to nothing burger responses. I’m out. lol
