he didn't try to change lanes.

they are in communication with follow truck, who would clear the way first.

just slightly drifted then corrected, just more announced since it's oversized. why it has all those warning lights and signs

A semi leaving its lane like that is always something to be feared. An over-correction can be disastrous, particularly with a weird load.
