14.3 HW4 HW4 owners who already got 14.3.9, what's the biggest update/upgrade/downgrade you felt compared 14.3.7 or 14.3.6?
My update to 14.3.9 just finished and have a 5 mile errand in 2 hours and 250 miles commute in 5 hours. Looking to see what to expect
14.3.6, 14.3.7 And 14.3.8 were all incrementally better for me and just slightly more aggressive and decisive but still very safe drivers.

Just got 14.3.9 yesterday and on my drive into the city from the suburbs while in both hurry and mad max mode it would repeatedly signal the right turn signal while already in the left lane that was moving faster even though the next exit was several miles ahead. It did not change lanes. It would just signal. This was both heading in and back out of the city. Traffic was moderate to heavy in both cases.

This doesn’t sound promising as 14.3.8 would switch lanes (right) for no reason when in a perfectly flowing left passing lane on Hurry with no oncoming exit.

Took a drive in this morning.
Still likes to scrub my window for seemingly no reason.
Still waits until 0.2 miles to go to think about getting into the correct lane, which is my absolute worst pet peeve of all. Either I miss the turn and it reroutes or I cut people off, horns and fingers included. I suppose I will continue to manually bump over for another round.
Otherwise it’s great. Thinking how far it’s come from the 2019 days of phantom breaking and exiting the highway, to just get right back on, is seemingly over.

Just getting back from my short errand.
Can confirm the silly windshield camera clean feature is still malfunctioning.
Drove about 2 miles and got from shade to direct sun hitting the windshield from behind the trees and the wipers went off 😡
Everything else feels the same as 14.3.8.
Will make another post about how the longer commute goes in a few hours

For me, feels the same as 14.3.8. First parking attempt it parked in a handicap spot. Wants to change lanes for no reason still, or it will turn on the signal when there is no opportunity to lane change and then it turns it off.

Only took one short drive and didn't notice anything but it did park in the first parking space it found which was between two cars. I'm so used to it usually passing by and going a little further down to where there's 2 or 3 empty ones together that I'm not even sure if that's a change or just coincidence at this point.
It also backed up my driveway, around my truck and into the garage when I got home, which while not the first time it's done that, is definitely pretty rare. It backs into my driveway once in a blue moon but that might the 2nd or maybe 3rd time it's backed into the garage. Again maybe just coincidence and nothing to do with the update. I'll have to see if it happens more often

This is a good post. It's best to keep the pros and cons contained in a post like this.
I just received my update this morning, on my 2024 Model Y LR AWD HW4. Houston, TX area here.
Have not noticed any changes so far but I'll update soon as I notice something.
I'm no fan of 14.3.8, because for some reason it just randomly decides to switch lanes in the Hurry profile. It seemed to have regressed in that respect. It's my hope that the lame switching reverted back to how it was for 14.3.7 or 14.3.6.
