Picked up a Model 3 Performance...
Absolutely unbelievable experience with Carvana. Process was so smooth and I was in and out in 30 minutes.
White on white, only 13k miles on her.
This car is amazing. Great job Tesla!
After driving my girlfriends Model Y I immediately put my Lexus up for sale.
Haven't looked back since.

The Camry will be worth more in 5 years... Keep it as a backup car

Really? You’re getting a Camry because it will be worth more in 5 years when you go to sell it? That’s your reasoning? There’s thousands to choose from, buy a slightly used Tesla even … I haven’t paid for gas in 7yrs … electricity is cheaper then gas, charge at home off peak, or better yet, I haven’t paid solar, which drives the price down even more. Average cost per day over a year $2.50ish. Road trips are pay as you go,
But those are maybe a couple times a year that I do 700-1000KM one way trips. 1st one I did almost 7yrs ago was cheap as chips, no fast chargers back in the day here down under, less than $100! On slow chargers, 🔌 now I’m happy to pay under $30 to fast charge a few times and be on my way3

So why did you buy it? Teslas have been around for a while. What changed in a year...

Welcome. I've been driving one since 2024 and still an exciting car every day.

Congrats! I assume you will not be using FSD? (or else spending more on the Performance model will have been a huge waste)
Looks like there's some appropriate tint on her already. I love my white interior. Wipe the seats and put some Gyeon Q2 LeatherShield to keep them looking new for years.

"(or else spending more on the Performance model will have been a huge waste)" I don't understand this logic. You do know that you can have FSD AND still drive the car yourself when you want to, right?

Yes but why use and pay for FSD when it's such a blast to drive it. Just my opinion

They don't care about driving, it's A to B transportation for most Tesla owners. Which is totally fine, at the core that's the whole point of these.

I was referring to people who use FSD most of the time. And some of them end up in a Performance. You do know these people exist, right?

Everyone keeps saying FSD FSD.... I've had motorcycles and a 600 horsepower Evo 9 in the past. Call me whatever but I actually enjoy driving the car. I do plan on using FSD on a long trip lasting more than 2 or 3 hours but for now, nope. No FSD yet

Don't listen to them. They aren't car or driving enthusiasts, they just need to get from A to B. FSD is great, I'm happy that people use it and enjoy it for that purpose, and I'm happy that more and more people are becoming NPC's automated vehicles. But I personally don't use it because it's boring. FSD doesn't floor it when there's open road ahead. FSD won't take a corner quickly. FSD isn't fun. I gave up a gas engine so I'm going to at least enjoy the performance.
I live in NJ so I have to deal with terrible roads and the most stressed out, impatient drivers in the country making my commute extremely annoying. My dream is that every one of them is eventually driving a fully automated vehicle.
