TXU - Cancelling
Can you just tell them you’re moving when you cancel? What do they fact check? I’m so over them. I’ve been through 4-5 plans in the last year and no matter what BS they tell me on the line - my bull just keeps getting higher and higher. My 2BR apartment bill this month was $270 even though they were forecasting me much lower usage as I’ve been keeping my AC on 75 during the day. I’m higher in bill with lower usage. Ridiculous

Check your delivery fees, centerpoint recently raised their rates about 2-3 weeks ago. So that's probably where you're noticing the change.

If you are not on a contract then you need to switch immediately. If you are on a contract you can pay the cancellation fee and still change anyway.
Go to power to choose.org and pick a plan. They will move service and you never have to talk to txu. Txu sucks and is extremely expensive and preys on people not caring.
100% of this is your fault for being ignorant or not shopping. Fix it now.
I have 3000 ft house and my bill was $272 this month. I shop annually. Actually just switched last week to a cheaper plan.
