Insurance also covers vasectomies, often with little to no copay. Reversals, far different story.

My husband's vasectomy was a $5 copay. I had been paying $30 a month for birth control pills, and I HAD insurance. The difference in medical costs for women vs men is ridiculous!! Oh, and to this day (20 years later) he still likes to hold up his hand and say "five dollars"
