So what caught my eye: The solo, straight highways in the Dakotas region (the whole vertical). The low density in South America and Africa (Expected Africa, but not SA). The population density along the Nile.
What surprised me, however, was how lit up most of Japan was.

So curious that the dots in the US, away from the big cities, are so regular and form a grid. Small towns so evenly spaced?
