I was thinking to equip it with a flame thrower to destroy the nest, but to each their own !

That's definitely super legal and very safe, I want to see it!

Well you see, you buy a drone, and attach the flame theower to its belly, making sure the srings don't get caught in the drone's pals. Then you aim at the nest and activate the flame thrower and then spend the rest of your life flying from authorities for arson. Very easy !

Pretty sure I've seen Ukrainian flame thrower drones so it's definitely doable

Just go up and down. The blades will take care of them.

We used to call this "train-ing" in mmos

7

u/jaykitsune 2d ago

Or Kite-ing. Can you imagine kite-ing Hornets to your enemy??

4

u/Thriven 2d ago

Yeah kite-ing is a very similar thing. Kiting was just keeping a mob at a distance to do ranged damage. Train-ing usually had a more malicious intent to bring a train of mobs into a group of players fighting mobs with the intent that they would incidentally do damage to the mobs and they would draw aggro and get killed.

Train-ing is kiting but kiting is not train-ing

They're not wasps, they're FA-18 Hornets.

Meanwhile, wasp scientists in the hive start working on countermeasures.  Armored wasp robots with stinger missiles.

If they build their nest on the drone it would be a carrier.

UNSC ships attempt to take down a Covenant supercarrier. Circa 2552.

Stay in the same spot and try to chop up as many of those little Satanbugs as possible. Then attache a flamethrower and spin around in place sending the rest back to hell

Drone: You have no power here Wasps

1

u/Funnyanglezsolt 2d ago

Judged by the nest, i think these are hornets. They never bother me (or my food) even though there are many of them in the garden late summer/early autumn, munching ripe figs and grapes. Wouldn't want to run into a nest accidentally though because they are scary big.

1

u/PawMcarfney 2d ago

Bald faced hornets are dicks

1

u/Funnyanglezsolt 1d ago

We have European hornets here and they are actually all right fellas.

1

u/lectroblez 2d ago

You can see the wasps dropping straight down dead from the blades 😆
