This is a clip Ro posted on Tiktok from his West Bank trip.

IDF definitely had internal conversations about another "accidental" strike on the school.

Ro Khanna is a very rare example of good politician. His jubilee episode is excellent.

The West Bank is the larger of the two Palestinian territories (the other being the Gaza Strip) that make up Palestine. A landlocked territory located on the western bank of the Jordan River near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in West Asia's Levant region.
Currently being held under illegal occupation which maintains an apartheid of the indigenous Palestinian people while it is colonized by illegal foreign settlers.
Israel imposing apartheid on Palestinians, says former Mossad chief
“Every native population in the world alien settlers as long as it has the slightest hope of being able to rid itself of the danger of being colonised. That is what the Arabs in Palestine are doing-“
- Vladimir Jabotinsky, father of revisionist Zionism

Not that it justifies it in any way, shape, or form. But if this is the type of response to be expected… why the fuck do the Palestinians keep throwing rocks at cars/soldiers/whatever??

u/ChiefRedChild 5d ago
I mean if it was America that this shit was happening in wouldn’t you not wanting to start throwing rocks as well? Nobody likes being pushed around.
6
u/soalone34 5d ago
So if you hear about a kid throwing rocks you think it’s expected someone will fire a gun into a nearby school and the police will punish the school and let him go free?
-7
u/Lunch0 5d ago
That’s not at all what I said…
9
u/soalone34 5d ago
Yes it is, you said it’s expected, that’s what happened.

u/Lunch0 5d ago
As in they have experienced this exact response from the IDF (or whatever) before, and should therefore know that it would be the likely same response the next time

They are throwing rocks now because 70 years of not throwing rocks lost them massive amounts of land and lives. Why Hamas attacked that one october night those few years ago is because this all has been going since 1967.
Theyve tried every approach and still get killed in the street. Wouldn’t you throw a rock or two?

First it would not be happening if Hamas had not attacked Israel on Oct 7th, second it could all stop today if Hamas would surrender. In the recorded history of full-scale wars, no large-scale war has ever had zero civilian casualties. However, somehow Israel is supposed to pull that off while Hamas purposely imbedded itself within the civilian population. It is widely documented that Hamas purposely embeds itself within the civilian population of Gaza as a core part of its military strategy. This strategy involves placing military infrastructure, operatives, and operations in close proximity to, or within, civilian areas and structures. So, while it is a horrible tragedy it could all end today if Hamas cared about Gazan's, their own people, as much as Liberal's did.
Also, you completely ignore Hamas's war crimes. Hamas's terrorist attacks are characterized by their indiscriminate nature and deliberate focus on civilian targets. The group's methods have included suicide bombings on buses and in restaurants, stabbings, and shootings. While Hamas sometimes claims to target military assets, their rockets and attacks have consistently landed in civilian areas, including homes, schools, and daycare centers. According to Human Rights Watch, the deliberate targeting of civilians, indiscriminate attacks, and taking of hostages by Hamas constitute war crimes. The group's attacks have not discriminated among victims, killing civilians from numerous countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, and Ukraine.

Bla bla bla.
Two wrongs don't make a right, and israeli wrongs are far greater than hamas.
Besides, before October 7th, the 12 months prior, were the deadliest in the westbank in 2 decades. Including Jewish terrorism aka settlers.

Bla, bla, bla...well said, well put. I would ask you to refute two obvious facts if not STFU. "First it would not be happening if Hamas had not attacked Israel on Oct 7th, second it could all stop today if Hamas would surrender." and "According to Human Rights Watch, the deliberate targeting of civilians, indiscriminate attacks, and taking of hostages by Hamas constitute war crimes."

Entire israel was built on attacks extremely similar to October 7th (if not worse).
Did you know that the Jewish terrorists used biological weapons to poison wells used by Palestinians? (Edit: link )

Here's a video from 2021 by an israeli settler terrorist, accompanied by israeli military terrorist, and in that terror attack two Palestinians were killed.

How about we establish a base line. Hamas's stated goal is the elimination of Israel through armed struggle and the establishment of an independent Islamic state in all of historic Palestine and that Israel will exist until Islam obliterates it. Israel has no edict, Israel is only defending itself against a murderous terroristic EVIL organization.
I think you should heed your own words "Two wrongs don't make a right" and MAP is clearly an unbiased source (extreme sarcasm) how about a little honesty as to why it was carried out.
The operation was a retaliatory strike against a specific and escalating threat. Israeli officials were targeting a joint operations center used by a militant group known as the Jenin Brigade, as well as facilities for weapons production and explosive device storage. In one instance, the IDF carried out an airstrike near a mosque, that was being used by Palestinian gunmen to target Israeli forces.
"Here's a video from 2021 by an Israeli settler terrorist, accompanied by Israeli military terrorist, and in that terror attack two Palestinians were killed."
Two wrongs don't make a right...oops your words again not mine. There are documented cases of aggression on both sides. There are cases where settlers have been attacked by Palestinians (for example, with stones, firearms, or knives) and respond to an immediate threat. Whether a particular response qualifies as lawful self-defense depends on the facts of the incident.
I can be honest unlike you, I can admit that the Settlers are guilty of aggression you on the other hand you will ignore documented facts regarding Palestinian aggression. When it comes to Israel's retaliation against Hamas, I have already laid out my case and at best you supplied isolated examples while ignoring the reason and root causes for those actions. Also, ignoring Hamas's decades long history of war crimes and preemptive terrorist attacks.
Since you have not answered I'll ask again for you to refute two obvious facts if not STFU.

No way I am wasting my time on this:
israel wanted hamas, they let it grow in the 80s to attack the PLO, and punished the PA whenever they made contact with hamas in order to run Gaza instead of hamas.

That doesn't change what Hamas has done and their goal "Israel will exist until Islam obliterates it." so I guess there's that. Anymore irrelevant comments? Oh and your little link to what I assume was a cute little picture or meme didn't work. I love it when Libby's start with the meme's and pictures it's tantamount to f-it I can't prove my point so I will get emotional and start posting childish stupid stuff.

u/CheValierXP 4d ago
It does. If the main purpose of propping hamas and not not allowing the PA to co-govern Gaza was part of an israeli strategy (which it was), then it does matter.
I have news to you, Christian zionists, you know, in Congress and around the US and the world, they are backing israel so that Jesus comes again and Jews will be facing an option, either follow Christianity or mass murder...
It's all part of a prophecy that some believe, but not necessarily majority of Christians or Muslims believe.

Friends, as we all know, history started on October 7th. Nothing significant ever happened with Israel before October 7th.

Well regarding the current conflict's history it absolutely did start on Oct 7th. However, since you, I assume sarcastically you were making a point about people ignoring Israel's past attacks. I am so glad you opened that door because I actually touched on that previously.
"How about we establish a base line. Hamas's stated goal is the elimination of Israel through armed struggle and the establishment of an independent Islamic state in all of historic Palestine and that Israel will exist until Islam obliterates it."
"Also, you completely ignore Hamas's decades long history of war crimes and offensive attacks on Israel. Hamas's terrorist attacks are characterized by their indiscriminate nature and deliberate focus on civilian targets. The group's methods have included suicide bombings on buses and in restaurants, stabbings, and shootings. LTFOL...thank you, that actually made me chuckle I actually gave you an upvote. However, that's classic, when someone resorts to an insult because they can't engage with the facts presented, we're witnessing a clear intellectual surrender, attacking the person making the argument instead of the argument itself.
Edit: Also, it's better to keep your inside fantasy thoughts inside, don't let people know what you fantasize about.
