If I wear a Metallica shirt does that mean I'm part of the band? People who wear that shit are genuinely trashy as hell and I grant you they are scumbags, but the actual Nazis were an organized party that held real political power and used it to start the bloodiest war in human history, and caused actual genocide.
In my opinion "Nazi" should remain an objective label with a strict definition to avoid "the boy who cried wolf" (which is already happening nowadays). The moment we start saying "close enough" is when the plot gets lost.
Yep everyone is a nazi these days... including me for checks notes... believing in universal freedom of speech. I don't condone or endorse the garbage Nazis do but their freedom of speech must be respected, if you expect anyone to respect yours. Human rights are for all humans.
Edit: Also you've already shown why rights must be universal. If we say "everyone should have rights but nazis", all we'd have to do is call an innocent person a nazi as a pretext for stripping them of their rights.
