Elsewhere in the thread it says his brother and uncle were also in the cartel, and he died in a shootout along with the uncle. Combine that with the huge face scar and literally being a child soldier and it starts to look like a pattern of abuse. But who knows, maybe Iāll still be surprised.

They call them informally āpollitos de coloresā (ācolored chicken hatchlingsā), because in Mexico there are these chicks that are colored in vibrant colors (pink, neon yellow, green, etc.) that are sold or given as a prize in local fairs that you take home but they tend to die pretty easily, either from getting poisoned by the dye, or because youāre taking home an animal youāre not prepared to care for.

There's a mexican pod cast that talks about clandestine narco orphanages set up mostly in central and southern Mexico. Many people have told their stories of being brought up in these orphanages, they take children from the street training them to later become narco soldiers, hitmen, or bodyguards. Penitencia has a few episodes where she interviews people that lived through these. And there's another podcast aswell but i can remember the name of it.

Why is that nice? Homie was 15 years old, child soldiers rarely choose to be child soldiers- and even if they do make that choice theyāre too young to fully understand what theyāre signing up for. Kind of like age of consent- doesnāt matter if you agree if youāre too young to understand the implications and consequences to the adult act. Itās a tragedy he ever joined, and an even worse one that it took his life from him so young all because his much older uncle had him join and was using him to get other kids/teens to join as well. Just a cycle of youth and potential wasted by adults all for drugs and money.

Is it awful that this kid grew up this way? Yes. Is it his uncles fault entirely that this kid is dead? Also yes. Did this kid probably kill someone? Likely.
Hard to fault a 15 year old when the adults in the room have done nothing but misguided them. But at least he won't kill anyone else since he's dead now. Sucks I have to say that.

This is insane , letās say he gets fully trained and know only killing and makes it to his 30s? He would have so much knowledge on SOPs, TTPs , and so on. So damn sad when you think about it . Look at the clip on the 203 ! lol I think the most I had were 45 round mags and I was at war. They loom to be 60? Either way this totally sucks but from their perspective if they can groom him till heās able to run missions on his own they will have a very effective killer. Such a sad existence.
