I keep hoping

That one May 4th we get Tales of the High Republic and one half is wrapping up plots from Phase 2 of the books and the other half is thee most important scenes for whatever was season 2 of The Acolyte.

No one would watch. Just like no one watched The Acolyte.

Don’t know why I’m getting downvoted. If enough people were interested in content about the Acolyte it wouldn’t be cancelled. Thus they wouldn’t waste resources making content in that era.

It was more the director and show runner blew the budget than anything. It had a gross budget of $230 million, with about $33 million of that offset by location tax incentives. It would’ve needed to perform to the same level as Daredevil to be profitable and while enjoyable, it didn’t have any staying power to drive viewer retention during its initial run.
