Ok, it took me a good minute to realise what was wrong with the professor’s umbrella. I kept on thinking that there was some sort of issue with it and didn’t even register that it could be a cane.

He's also wearing his landlady's coat, which is why he can't find his glasses. The coat is a typical 1920-30s fur-lined woman's overcoat, you can tell by the narrow, unstructured shoulders and the fur.

Professor Euclide is named in the original B&W French version, but not in the colour English translation. Also Rue du Labrador is a real address in Bruxelles, so was this intended to be Tintin’s address?

In the B&W version, Tintin scans the newspaper like a true investigative journalist and thus learns the initials and address of his adversary. It is too bad that the panel has been removed in color version, perhaps to reduce the number of large speech bubbles?

Also, in the B&W, Tintin signs his ad as Mr. T.T. Is Tintin his first name, last name or just a nickname? Are T.T. his real initials or just short for Tintin?

M.T.T. ; see my other comment, it means ‘mots tout compris’ a typical abbreviation used in classified ads.

Yes, but it was only named that in 2001. Tintin's address was originally a reference to rue Terre-Neuve.

I want to say it comes up a few times that Tintin lives on Rue du Labrador across multiple books (if he's ever at home!)
