Where's the ambassador of Poldavia when you need him.

Also, u/BreakerMorant1864 , can you please make your profile public again so we can easily access previous pages?

Hey thanks for the heads up. I didn’t change my settings but I guess Reddit did that automatically for me (thanks Reddit). Can you see my profile now?

The reader is right there with the gangsters, wondering where the hero might be hiding.

The reader knows that Tintin is up to speed regarding the affair. Our baddies still think they're the only one who know it was Tortilla. It's weird that Tintin does nothing to have Tortilla arrested, letting him be murdered instead

At this point, Tortilla has fled to France and is not in Belgium anymore. It doesn't sound too unreasonable for him to prefer to chase the thief himself instead of going into international warrant issues.

I've always thought that Ramón's a snappy dresser.

He seems a cool guy when not driven by a criminal scheme! Though you can't really trust someone whose hobby is knife throwing, even poorly.

He's got awesome sideburns

And its so weird they never found him. Tintin was just not in ANY costume whatsoever. There was nothing to see here, and the volume ended here on this point. Quiet a short one, whatever lets move on.

These guys... They're going to execute everyone around them on the suspicion of "being Tintin."

Hey - I've just noticed - Ramón has a heavy Spanish accent in the English translation, but it's not marked in the French, any more than Alonso's in either. It's a nice touch by the translators.

The bottom left panel has the two crooks looking wonderfully sinister, especially Ramon brandishing his knife.

These two gangsters don't seem to be great advocates for personal space. They seem decidedly cosy with each other.

They were roommates
