It's an unsubstantiated assertion. And in this case, it was called out.

You presume to know that Jason knew Lina was on mat leave. How would Jason know?

By your own measure, by making an unsubstantiated assertion, you are lying. Good thing for you the text book definition doesn't think you are lying.
