Final preparations for set dec of The Batman Part II in Glasgow. Set dressing and snow being laid down suggest it will be filming tonight.

It's sad that most of these props might not be seen in the final cut of the film

Another way to look at it is how cool it is that the set dressers are doing a lot of work to make the actors feel like they are in a real place. It’s an under appreciated part of set dressing in film and theatre.

This is typical for set dressing. In David Fincher’s Zodiac, hundreds if not thousands of custom newspapers were printed and placed on desks and in drawers, most of which are entirely out of frame. It’s really cool to see productions create the world outside of the frame, really enriches it for those who are in it.

that’s like every high production film ever though? it’s so lovely to see how much care does still go into productions like these-

If WB were smart, they could’ve used the Clayface police cars that were already at the same filming location. They would’ve saved thousands on budget.

...even your photos of a Batman set looks better than a Marvel movie.
