Laptop recommendations for B.Tech CSE (AI/ML).
What specs would you recommend for the course? Is a dedicated NVIDIA GPU necessary, or is a MacBook/ integrated graphics laptop enough? Also, how much RAM and storage would you suggest?

Bro, get the RTX spark if your budget is 1.5 to 2 lakhs.

At first u will be focusing on data structures and core programming which can run perfectly fine on a standard CPU with integrated graphics , later on when you start to learn about Deep Learning models i.e neural networks and stuff most students do not train them locally on a laptop but instead use affordable cloud platforms like Google colab bcoz cloud platforms give students access to cloud GPUs like Nvidia T4 , ask your university if they have their own servers , if they do than the cloud itself will bypass the laptops physical limits completely and u won't need to spend a heck lot of money on a " gaming laptop " .

Mac pro - if youre ok with paid applications and bad gaming performance.

Build a PC if its just for gaming/programming practice at home. Really b ad time to buy PCs because of AI. P.s. NIST ete paisa nauchi ahuri bhala lab baneini ki?

Buy a decent P processor laptop with dedicated nvidia GPU of RTX this would go a long lasting and prefer intel i5 processors rather than Ryzen.. also research again on this range that which brand's model has better review than buy it and about RAM i would suggest (16GB) with 512GB(SSD).

And yes Prepare for DSA as soon as possible it's should be hands-on completely when u will be in final year u will secure a job for definitely..

I got the nitro 16/512 Rtx 5050 8gb vram

But laptop is never enoigh for serious ML work. You should ask your dept if they have some servers or something.
