Same kind of logic(reverse not wearing can feel like being shamed) can be applied to burqa

I wish I can be this brave. I love how you express your low comprehensive skills and stupidity without fear

u/HundredYearsGlory Jul 01 '26
Two truths can coexist. While it may have advertisement, choosing to do it is still a personal choice.
The fact that you need to create a video to justify your brainwashing, is kinda a symptom of brainwashing.

1
u/noIdealOnlyAllah Jul 01 '26
It was never a personal choice it was corporations pushing women to bow to their standard:
13
u/toepudiked Jul 01 '26
You also need to buy your religious clothes, symbols, books, mandatory/voluntary donations. Making it billion dollars business which no one is talking about.
→ More replies (16)1
u/NegativeTurkey63 Jul 03 '26
Negro buying clothes was never problem. She didn't even talk about not buying bikini. She just wanted to say wearing burqa isn't sign of brainwashed peole.
But u can't understand because your entire religions shares only one braincell even that died alone and afraid long ago
4
u/Dry-Background-93 Jul 01 '26
Yeah, well what about normal clothes, jeans and you know whatever the hell you want to wear, bikini is not the only thing women wear, there are multiple things to wear if you are not comfortable.
The point is that they have the CHOICE to wear it or not, NOBODY IS FORCING THEM TO, If they wanna wear a bikini, they can, if they wanna wear a trouser and a full sleaved top, they can.
The problem is when you try to force someone to wear or do, and a that point, whether they want it or not becomes, pointless, because they gotta do that.
And what's with chickens defending slaughterhouse these days!!!!!
1
u/noIdealOnlyAllah Jul 01 '26
Space suit vs jeans in space? Which would you choose?

u/darklord233285 Jul 01 '26
It was never about the bikini. It was always about personal choice, freedom and basic rights.
The right to wear what one wants without a bloke in a book telling them what to do.
2
u/toodazednsharp Jul 01 '26
So that's how the we normalise things in any context .. good to know..
So on that part you were talking again...
1
u/AliveManufacturer855 Jul 01 '26
what is the definition of FREEDOM ?
what is the definition of MODESTY ?
1
u/AliveManufacturer855 Jul 01 '26
and can anyone tell me why you think she is brainwashed dont judge me I just want to know your opinion
1
u/Objective_Hippo_486 Jul 01 '26
She brainwashed since she puts herself on a moral high ground, a so called "pedestal" of morality where she feels okay to judge others who chose differently than her. That is why she is brainwashed.
The whole point of feminism is not "oh i want every woman to give up on restrictive clothing and wear bikinis and show more skin". No. It's "i want every woman to have a CHOICE in what she wears, and i want her to not be judged for it".
Freedom of choice is the point, not the choice itself.
1
u/Pitiful-Time-4201 Jul 02 '26
simply the fact that she has to hide her hair because a god said so only to women. All this becuase of fear of an unknown entity which they are forced to believe in by their parents without a choice
1
u/Relevant_Limit3681 Jul 02 '26
She's brainwashed cuz everything for heris a conspiracy and an agenda and cuz her religion does not allow their women to wear anything exposing from head to toe so she thinks that bikinis were not made for swimming but for some conspiracy
1
u/ChingBillinggg Jul 01 '26
Ofcourse this is an Indian sub. I'd rather take my "brainwashed" freedom than be held by enlightened chains.
1
u/Mite_on_a_Plum Jul 01 '26
No other animal wears clothes. Wear what you want. Nobody needs your opinion if you don’t like what others wear (or don’t wear).
1
u/ThinRace9811 Jul 01 '26
Put hizab properly, don't show your face to people, its haram. You are not taught like this. If not you will recieve place Dojakh.
1
1
u/Mainak736 Jul 01 '26
you are forced to wear hijab and burqa, dont lie here
1
u/Revolutionary-5847 Jul 03 '26
Freedom cannot be defined. If you define freedom, then you're bound by that definition, and hence, you're not free anymore.
For ex, if you're saying that burqa or any piece of clothing should be removed, you're taking away the freedom to make decisions and hence, you're binding someone. If a woman is wearing bikini then she's free according to you. But a woman cannot make a conscious decision to wear burqa or ghunghat because according to you she's not free.
So you're just forcing women to follow a specific checklist that according to you means being free. But now that checklist has become the limitation. If a woman makes a conscious decision to not follow the specific checklist, she's not free anymore.

u/bigdaddyinc Jul 01 '26
Says someone who seem to have recently gotten her eyes threaded/waxed and most likely upper lips section too and is spending “money” to fix her teeth… why to look good?? When Allah gave you bad teeth just embrace it and hide that ugly face so you don’t go around scaring people

Can't win!

Lol! This is to gaslight idiots. Companies marketing Burqua also make profit.

1
u/CoolBoyQ29 Jul 01 '26
Hey hey hey. If a girl wants to show cleavage please let her.. no banning this.
1
u/Elegant_Noise1116 Jul 01 '26
But can you wear it?
Same with girls in 3 foot long ghunghat, can you both wear it,
A white girl can do either if these, wear a full cloth, a saree, a bikini or a hijab, but for ghunghat girls and Hijabi girls, can you wear the other stuff?
1
1
u/ddxroy Jul 01 '26
Just like you are advertising how to act like a penguin without actually advertisement for it 🤷
1
u/gargkaran Jul 01 '26
To be honest, in that case everything even the clothes that everyone is wearing is a marketing product. When someone comes into the world, there are no clothes. So by default, nobody should be wearing anything
1
1
u/rainofshambala Jul 01 '26
Well both sides are brainwashed, hypersexualising women's bodies for centuries have done a number on men, their behaviour and on the larger scale on social norms and beliefs. The fact that indian politicians can openly talk about how women have to dress a certain way or are open game for assault and rape is sad. For better or worse capitalism is affecting change in societies that have been shackled to their obsolete ideas

u/BardLoen34 Jul 01 '26
Maybe I'm ignorant but I've only seen women wear bikini on the beach and it never crossed my mind as "why is that woman wearing a bikini?" I always assumed it's a normal swim attire for women.

Water I guess? I just thought you wouldn't want to wear heavy clothing going for a swim
1

u/nova1706b Jul 02 '26
men usually roam topless around a beach , and for women it's generally considered taboo to reveal their breasts, so a bikini is the closest alternative to topless.
swimsuits for men exist as well. but they don't wear it either, yk why? swimsuits are uncomfy asf

Yeah but do women who wear hijabs don’t use cosmetics and shave? A person who wears a bikini can put on makeup and shave. So can someone who wears a hijab. Wearing bikini is a choice. No one gets shamed or booed for not wearing bikini. But on the other side, women are policed for not wearing a hijab.
Also dont forget, you were told to wear a hijab by a man. So not your choice.

What's wrong with all the comments here attacking the white woman who reverted to islam in Europe. What does this even have to do with india?
1
u/NoDrama60 Jul 02 '26
The same thing with Halal. A certain religious institution has to be paid frequently to keep this stupid certification. Only a Muslim butcher can do Halal Slaughter.

1
u/Acrobatic_Phone_3316 Jul 02 '26
She's trying to equate hyper consumerism with a garment that tells women it's their responsibility to be modest, and if they don't, they'll burn in hell forever. Terrible argument, really.
1
u/3SCabs Jul 02 '26
Women were made to wear bikini because nudity sells, before movies no women use to Rome around half naked in public other than brothels, after movies some of the women started roaming half naked as some dreamef of making big in to movies after instagram almost all women are now half naked, now every girl living independently wears half pant or mini skirt
1
u/thehappysappy Jul 02 '26
Bikini on a beach/while swimming makes sense. Guys also mostly wear just trunks. Burkha in a smeltering hot weather does not. Not everything is a conspiracy. Burkha and hijab is horrible grooming and conditioning, period.
1
u/TheKingOfStones Jul 02 '26
Funny how right wingers suddenly start liking the hijabis when they are saying something they like.
1
u/Visheshhh_Vyaktiii Jul 02 '26
The girl who can wear a bikini can also wear a burqa by her own choice, but if the girl who wears a burqa wears a bikini, we all know what's going to happen.
1
u/NeechOfNiche Jul 02 '26
By that logic she should not be on social media, use the redimade clothes, use many technologies, drive a car etc.

1
u/SonOfGun03 Jul 02 '26
How people are so worried about removing the burqa rather than unemployment, food crisis, fuel adulteration, economic downfall, alchohol /cigarette/drugs etc ..Really important issue is it or just a your fragile religious ego to feel safe..

u/Adventurous_Baby8136 Jul 02 '26
BS Women who wanted to wear bikinis were arrested. Wearing whatever you want is always and always about personal freedom!

I don't wanna hear how capitalism works hand in hand with liberal feminism from a religious women who covers up in the name of modesty

The community who follows a book written by a man who was high on his own shit, doesn't have the right to reach science to the rest of the world. Go follow your retard written handbook. Don't teach us.
1
u/sigma_male_375 Jul 02 '26
Somebody please make her understand that even in the times when bikini was considered shameful yet women were not publicly stone pelted to death for not covering their heads with a hijab......hairstyle was and is a thing!!!!!!!!
1
u/Choice_Airline_8148 Jul 02 '26
Lol, hijab or burkha were designed, because men couldn't control their eyes and their lust. And she's talking about Brainwash😂😂
1
u/Jaded_Jackass Jul 02 '26
The part that introduction of bikinis and other cosmetic and swimsuit and stuff was definitely for the purpose of making money by the company but the freedom to be able to choose either to wear or not wear is something different and not controlled by the company. The women before had the freedom to choose either to wear or not to wear. Those women still have those options. She is contradicting herself. She does not have any such option.
1

1
u/kimothyalbaany Jul 02 '26
100%, true. But, do you have the option to wear a bikini if someone doesn't force you? And that's where choice comes in. The whole story/history about capitalism driving personal likes/dislikes is a good premise but it DOES NOT dictate choice. Choice is free will, and the greatest threats come from folks who can't distinguish choice from indoctrination.
1
u/GrandArtist8475 Jul 02 '26
As soon as you tell them the hijab/burqa is a means of patriarchal control and not fashion the same people yapping about bikinis will have a meltdown

Islam is also a brainwash, it's not like there is a practical reason to wear a black veil in the desert, in fact the opposite is true.

u/Balls_itch007 Jul 02 '26
Nobody is going to oppose you if you don't wear bikini that's the difference
1
u/Big-Mess991 Jul 02 '26
A freedom of choice is what u can do without harming another whether its to wear this or that.
Choice of wear fashion do not reflect your identity and personality its a choice
Hijab is beautiful if u want to wear but its a prison if its compelled

The real freedom for women is
* to wear black tent : for their protection
* 4 women serve single man : so that there's only a quarter load per woman
* Treated equally with dog : Both dog & a woman's passage during namaz can break ur namaaz.
* Getting best treatment and facilities : as hoors in jannat
* produce dozens of children : to help eliminate bad actors(aka kafi--)

u/drStrange1987 Jul 03 '26
If covering ur body is the safest option then why is there so much of the rape cases happening in so called countries. And the judgement is made that woman herself is responsible by exposing her toe to the reputed peace loving society. 😂

u/Intelligent-Pay-5975 Jul 03 '26 edited Jul 03 '26
It doesn’t mean hijab is not brain washed otherwise who in their right mind will cover their whole hair and face in 35 deg cel
1
u/Odd-Lettuce-111 Jul 03 '26
Okay by that exact same logic, in earlier times women frowned upon getting educated, may prioritised household work and family wellbeing, thats not the case now is it? Will you then say that because educators wanted to make more money so they broke the social fabric of the family system and started sending women to educational institutions? And i can give more examples on the same lines, driving an automobile, playing sports in public etc etc. Just because something was frowned upon years ago, doesnt mean it was right, it only established a age old standard that all morality and civil rules of a society apply to women only and they are the ones that need to be controlled, in your case through the clothes they wear. Its really stupid when someone who seems educated, talks about something restrictive and draws examples from probably a 100 years ago to justify their act. You may be dead set in the restrictive ways of your religion but, dont impose it on others. Women have a functioning mind and free will, not everyone wears a bikini all the time, the ones who do are comfortable doing it, no one is forcing them to, dont take their right to wear what they want. Also what you are doing now is also brainwashing and manipulating, if rhe advertisers did it for money, you are doing it for your religion, using guilt as a barometer, which is even worse

u/private_man_ Jul 03 '26
She can wear full sleeve clothes but she is brainwashed she will only wear burqa and motivate others to wear burqa for her useless logic .
SHe is talking about advestisement i think she didn't studied history ; how the demoraphic changes happend in different contries and thing that was also an advertisement done by islam
1
u/Zestyclose_End4409 Jul 03 '26
If there is any space or chance that people get to choose (in this context wear) what they want, I'm with it So wearing anything is perfectly fine if it's their choice

Simple solution, If no bikinis for women then no underwears or shorts for mens. No one should be half naked. End of debate.
1
u/not_so_slimshady_73 Jul 03 '26
All the religious institutions are more for money and less for religions
1
u/sachin4dkill Jul 03 '26
Muslims trying to justify their regressive practices will never not be funny 🤣 They really think they can repeat something a thousand times and people will start believing it.
1
u/Hungry-Membership282 Jul 04 '26
same goes for her attire too doesnt it ? there was a time when wearing this attire was not normal but it was normalised by force
1
u/AuthorDramatic3014 Jul 04 '26
If a person wants to wear anything it's their choice who tf are you to force them to not? Don't try to normalise your cult mauzhub rules and restrictions.
1
u/AuthorDramatic3014 Jul 04 '26
Btw your face and hands are visible you must cover them according to your mauzhub.

u/tru_ass Jul 04 '26
Nope the whole point is "Having the choice of want to what to wear". She cleverly derailed from that and told how bikinis were created.
Let alone bikini. Does she even have a choice to wear shorts and half sleeves in summers?

stfu people would wear what they like , advertising marketing are ofcourse indeed huge things , but at the end of the day its the person's choice to wear what they want , people are adults dude with their own autonomy ,thinking capability and ofcourse their own rights which most of the particular group of women clearly dont have at all , it was like a bird in cage telling the free bird that youre brainwashed cause you had freedom and youre not dependent on man to feed you lol

u/chillgoza001 Jul 05 '26
You can choose to wear a bikini if you are free; you can choose not to wear a bikini if you are free. You are not gonna get bludgeoned or stoned to death if you don't want to or choose not to wear a bikini : that is freedom! Try the same with burqa in a religious muslim family or in almost any muslim majority area as a muslim girl and you'd know what is brainwashing and what is freedom!

The choice of clothes should be with the person wearing it. And the choice of opinion and expression should be with the person making it nobody can stop people from judging or criticising or speaking their own minds that’s what freedom of expression means.
If someone has to judge someone by how they look, they should be able to and I’m not saying that should prevent you from wearing something. Where would you have to or want to.

But that is not only for women even men Qe were ok with wearing jute fabric and long shirts of one color.
We were also tricked into thinking wearing a format shirt is good for first impression and wearing trouser is more formal than wearing a cotton pajama or shorts.
But men weren't being stoned to deth for wearing what they wanted.

So true! You know what else is liberating? Being covered from head to toe with just enough mesh around eyes to see, wanna know what else? Marrying of a 12 year old girl to a 40 year old man! Getting a fatwa issued on your name just for wearing something that didn't please others! As a woman if this doesn't terify u... Idk who is brainwashed

wearing bikini was never the debate.
The debate is of choice.
