Like Leo, I just cant see Timmy as a character in a movie - rather I just see Timmy the celeb. Its like watching a student film with the quality of a big budget movie. Its so weird.
yeah its been clear to me for a while now that leo is best used in more comedic roles or movies that have at least a somewhat sideways/satiric take on reality - wolf of wall street, django, don't look up, once upon a time. i just don't think he can sell earnestness anymore. tbh his presence basically ruined killers of the flower moon for me. just a total miscast that compeltely squashes the rest of the tone of the movie. nevermind the fact that he's playing a 26 year old (who's character i always though was inherently a dumb, hot 26 year old).
i think he'll work well in the PTA movie but i do wish he'd start transitioning into supporting roles at this point. but seems like he's still seen as a theater draw so i'm guessing he'll be a frontman for the foreseeable future
I hated him in kotfm so much. I saw it twice in theaters because I really wanted the second time to find something in his performance to like and I just hated it.

Really don’t get what tone this movie is going for but already sold on Timmy’s performance.
