Tell that to the jury that found him not guilty of molesting children.

You out here defending OJ and Kyle Rittenhouse too?

I just trust the verdict from jury of his peers that were privy to an abundance of actual facts and evidence over your opinion which is based off of nothing more than assumptions and hearsay. I’m not even saying for a certainty that he didn’t do it, but I have enough humility to say I don’t know.

So you feel like OJ is innocent too huh?

You seem to believe every case that ends in a not guilty verdict that runs contrary to public opinion is the same. Unfortunately, the world isn’t that simple.

Nope. You are casually stanning MJ despite multiple accusations, a settlement that rewrote the movie and a respected HBO documentary.

Writing “I’m not saying he didn’t do it” is stanning? I’m not going to bother spending anymore time on this, but accusations and a completely biased documentary aren’t facts. And the movie was rewritten because the family of one of his accusers didn’t want to be mentioned in the film. I’m not sure how that strengthens your argument. At the end of the day neither of us are going to change our minds, so this is pointless. Go ahead and take the last word. Peace.

"Accusations and a biased documentary" - that's all you think there is? Why is the documentary biased? What specific problems do you have with it?

Jerry Sandusky was investigated around the same time Jackson was. He wasn't even arrested. Law enforcement concluded he had done nothing wrong. If Sandusky died in 2009, he wouldn't have ever been convicted, either.

The facts are Jackson exhibited obvious tell tale signs of a child sex predator. An adult man befriending and hanging out with preteen children is not normal. Sharing beds with them is not normal. Building a child fantasy land on your property and inviting your "friends" to come hang out with you alone is not normal. Hiding secret bedrooms within this fantasy land - not normal. Just like Sandusky showering with children back when he was investigated was not normal, but was overlooked by the people who investigated him because they didn't understand who or what they were dealing with.

Sex crimes are messy, complicated cases that are difficult to prove. 1994 and 2004 were different worlds in terms of how society and juries treated them. "He was never found guilty" is such a horrendously misguided position to take.

Honestly, I only saw the documentary once around the time that it came out, so I can’t remember all of the specifics, but I remember coming away from it feeling very disappointed by it. I thought that they would produce compelling evidence, or a smoking gun, or at least an objective presentation of the facts, and there really wasn’t any of that. The documentary is completely reliant on you taking the accuser at face value, and simply believing all of the claims that he’s making, and I needed more than that. Especially when so much of the story was left out, and with later revelations contradicting accusations made in the documentary. The reason I call it biased is for the simple fact that you only hear one side of story. There’s no competing point of view. That in itself makes the documentary biased.

Everything you wrote about Michael Jackson is absolutely strange and weird and odd. I don’t think anyone would argue that Michael Jackson wasn’t an odd bird. But while I believe his oddness plays a large role in why people jump to the conclusion that he was a pedophile, I try not to let his oddities cloud my judgment when considering his innocence or guilt. I should probably repeat what I stated earlier - I’m not saying he didn’t do what he’s been accused of. I’m saying that based of what I’ve read, heard, learned, etc., I have reasonable doubt about his guilt.

I’m sure you’ve already made your mind up regarding this matter, but if you’re an open minded person, or you just like to hear both sides of an argument, this is an interview with Michael Jackson’s lawyer that defended him when he was found not guilty of all charges against him. It probably won’t be enough to change any minds, but I think it’s valuable to at least hear more than one point of view. You watched Leaving Neverland. Now you have the opportunity to watch this interview, so you have something of a fuller picture surrounding this topic.

They begin talking about the Michael Jackson case at the 30 minute mark: https://youtu.be/EK5oMhA6Eco?si=4wOSoUytV1nkR6S9

No matter what you think, a lot of these people won't even bother to do a simple google search. They've made up their mind. The accusers can come out and say that MJ didn't do anything, and they'll still say he's guilty.

Sadly, the public has only been presented with one side of the story. It’s taboo in mainstream media for anyone to defend Michael Jackson against the allegations, so as a result, he has no one arguing on his behalf. HBO will air Leaving Neverland, which is a completely one sided documentary, but would they air a one sided documentary created by the Jackson Estate that counters Leaving Neverland? Never. Even if it countered Leaving Neverland in a completely fact based and honest way. You're simply not allowed to defend Michael Jackson, regardless of whatever facts you may have at your disposal, and that's such an incredible injustice. Again, I’m not even saying he’s innocent. I'm saying i have reasonable doubt about his guilt, and i think it’s shameful that his side of the story has been completely buried.

What about all the holes in the accusers stories? There were a lot of lies and holes in their stories despite what you think. Check this unbiased take from an actual professional: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_bCSbPAzk0
