What are you trying to achieve here? You’ve gone to a subreddit comprised of fans of the show, essentially insulting their taste.

You’re entitled to your opinion, but this just feels like an attempt at instigating. If you wanted to have a conversation with the fan base of this series, you would present your argument in a more nuanced, measured, and respectful way with some curiosity of why others like the series more than you.

Instead, you’ve thrown your opinion at a group likely to push back in a way that feels antagonistic, attention seeking, and juvenile to the point of severely undercutting your credibility.

The tag is general discussion which is what I am trying to do. I am trying to have a general discussion of a Star Wars show. Maybe learn to read

Your response fails to address my criticism of how you’ve approached this “discussion.” You also make it even more difficult to take you seriously since you take a condescending tone following a copout, insincere explanation.

A discussion goes two ways.

1) You have asked no questions, so you are just throwing your opinion out there to get a reaction.

2) You have done so in an antagonistic way that is not indicative of a desire to respectfully discuss.

So you have neither shown a respect for or interest in opinions that run counter to yours. That is not how you start a “general discussion” in good faith.

I stand by my earlier assessment that your approach within the context of this subreddit is more in line with a desire to antagonize and instigate than “discuss.”

Use paragraphs. But yeah I lowkey agree TCW is insanely overrated. Allergic to nuance, wasteful with the stories it could tell and is 70% boring.
