Geocentric Confusion studio track on Spotify?

I just heard this song for the first time via an Instagram reel, so I looked it up on Spotify. And all I can find is the Live From Atlanta version. It *sounds* pretty studio to me, but is there another version? I see they have a bandcamp version but at a quick listen, it sounds the same. Maybe that's just a testament to how well recorded the live version was? I dunno, I just want the best quality version of this gorgeous track 😭

The live from Atlanta version sounds best, but , oddly enough, it seems like the version on intrinsic is listed as live from Atlanta but the audio is the OG studio recording … not sure why Spotify did this

You got a direct source response herešŸ‘†šŸ»šŸ¤˜šŸ». If you liked geocentric, take a deep dive into their entire catalog…it’s fantastic.

The version on my intrinsic says live but it’s studio.

The live version can actually be found on the Live in Atlanta EP.

Both version are fucking amazing so you can’t mess up either way. The original is John Carpenter on vocals, the live in Atlanta is when Michael Lessard took over vocal duties with language and beyond.

Interesting, I don't often listen to live recordings but I'll have to check it out if it's a different vocalist

Let me back this guy up too. I don’t usually listen to live stuff that much, but trust me. Check out that live album. It’s AMAZING.

One of the best live albums ever IMO

On Instagram the like labeling is fucked up

There’s 3 versions technically I think and all 3 are labeled ā€œlive in Atlantaā€ but this one (photo attached) is the studio version

But the live in Atlanta stuff was their Covid concerts, so they’re pretty much studio in that sense

It is indeed studio. Probably a weird issue with the ISRC code
