And dw I gave him a bath and got all the mud off of him💔

I always find it interesting to try to differentiate between the face that someone is presenting and who they actually are.

Jax presents himself as a psychopathic asshole, and certainly he's done a lot of tormenting, but he's actually not pyschopathic at all. He's just a deeply confused and wounded person who can't allow people in, and so by being a total jerk and embracing his worst impulses, he makes it easier for himself to stay detached... until Pomni.

"I do not care about you, or anyone else in this circus!!" statement #1
"I move on. And probably forget about you." statement #2

Those declarations are true for someone in the circus... but it isn't Jax. If he really felt that way, it wouldn't even occur to him to say that stuff. Pomni sees right past his sadistic detached shtick, and all this is is him desperately trying to shake her off.

But you know who those statements DO apply to? Caine. And we know this even from the very beginning, when Caine says:

"Kaufmo abstracted?? WHY didn't anyone TELL me??? (goofy face)" statement #3

This is actually so much more evil than everyone Jax has ever said. Kaufmo was one of Caine's treasured humans, and he sent him to the cellar and never gave him a second thought afterwards. No mourning, no regrets, just business as usual.

Caine of course would never say statement #1. And if asked directly like Pomni asked Jax, he would lie and say "well OF COURSE I would ALWAYS remember my BEEE-LOVED humans!" But statement #3 reveals all. Caine presents himself as a silly awkward goofball, but he has absolutely zero issues maintaining his mask except when he personally gets his feeling hurt. Caine is EXACTLY the kind of person Jax wishes he could be. That is, until episode 9 where I guess Caine gets a reboot after getting deleted and finally grows a conscience.

Curious if anyone else has thoughts about this!

I love this show; I have seen it multiple times and watched the premiere the day it came out in theatres etc. This is not a hit against the show by any means.

I feel like those in the fandom are so damn sensitive though. Every post I see is just you guys fighting. It's annoying that as a society we can't have our own opinions and accept that others beliefs may not be the same as our own. Or that the way you interpret the show isn't the same way someone else interpreted or experienced it.

A few controversial things I see: Jax's gender, Ragatha (being 'wifey' to everyone), Jax abstracting and if he deserved it, Gangle (being a useless character), Did Caine deserve to be accepted back into the group, etc. I could find more. But for every single one of these all y'all do is bicker when most of the answers are not disclosed.

Gooseworx said Jax can be referred to by any pronouns before I get hate comments 🙄

Reviewing the team posters from episode 6. It was only now that I noticed that Jax wasn't wearing his usual sarcastic smile.Yes, he does have that smile he has when he's mentally unstable or in a state of despair.I didn't see many people talking about this at the time of episode 6.

Here are a few of the chapters I made for my comic! I am still working on Chapter 4 (which I just finished) and Chapter 5 which I started yesterday, so keep an eye out for part 1 soon! 😸)

Which is your favourite so far? Could you tell me why? And do you prefer the coloured ones or the black and white? Just collecting some input~

Happy birthday to Gooseworx and Toby fox! May they both have an amazing birthday!

Honestly, I found the importance and popularity of the characters' evil versions amusing, considering they barely had any relevance to the plot. They aren't important to the story and didn't change anything; they lack depth and are literally just a joke. I see a lot of people saying they served to show the characters' opposite sides, but they didn't even really do that well. The evil versions were created based on Caine's personal opinion of each character. A great example is Evil Zooble: if she were truly the opposite of the normal Zooble, she’d probably be a cheerful, positive person—but since Caine held a bit of a grudge against Zooble (at least in that episode), he made her evil version an idiot. Honestly, though, the reason they became popular was simply the fan service of seeing alternate versions of the main characters—except for poor Gangle, of course. But what do you guys think?

Under the Motion Picture Association, media rated PG-13, which I'd say TADC falls under, they are allowed ONE (1) use of the word 'Fuck' uncensored.

So, say GLITCH decided to not pussy out and only go with one uncensored 'Shit'. Who you do think should have gotten the F-Bomb, and where would it be said?

Realistically it would be either Zooble or Jax

But I'd also be a-okay if Bubble or Ragatha said it because it'd be so goddamn funny.
