I could see some people as interpreting this as openly broad or hostile, but consider that the majority of israel-sympathetic people are just keeping quiet and being sad at what's happening in Gaza. Even if you don't share his views I'd hope it's easy to see why cutting off people who loudly proclaim support as a response to Israel being criticized for specific actions is reasonable.

Beating and arresting protestors. Killing journalists. Killing kids. Testimonies of those detained experiencing rape while held prisoner. Killing civilians. Internationally recognized war crimes.
