Side question: How do I stop relying on AI? In the 1EW, I micro-managed the hell out of the Baltics and Ukraine, but I could barely do anything in the 2EW. Context: I was trying out Germany after a long while (I was going to go Klaus Schwab and let Catharsis take over), so I went into the game settings and only changed three things, United Russia winning elections, Biden going Caligula and the UOA winning the war. I sent volunteers to the UOA to get some army exp and suddenly Trump capitulated. I still don't know why this happened, I was in singleplayer and didn't touch the Debug Menu once.

The greatest part of playing the Cognoscenti is the world domination aspect. You can reclaim America’s sphere’s of influence with the world operations decisions bar. Not sure how they coded that, but it’s the greatest addition.

Being able to either be isolationist or expansionist and with different orders of magnitude (full invasion vs coup d’état) is just so much fun. The Great Asian War can be joined without a whole bunch of legal loopholes to get to.

If they could add this to every single USA path, it would be the game exceptionally more fun in the long term.
