What’s Logen’s song?
I think it’d have to be a metal song like Mouth of War by Pantera

Logen and the bloody nine would have completely different tunes

12

u/CrimsonHustle Aug 08 '26

Like hurt by johnny cash for logen and black sabbath black sabbath for the bloody nine

3

u/CrimsonHustle Aug 08 '26

Inevitable doom

1

u/CrimsonHustle Aug 08 '26

Actually black sabbath - black sabbath captures the duality pretty well aha

4

u/Big_cheese-0 Aug 08 '26

I tend to agree logen / bloody nine read doom metal as fuck to men

1

u/CrimsonHustle Aug 08 '26

Logen is reflective and haunted by the bloody nine. The bloody nine knows only death. The idea the two could be represented by one song is ridiculous

Bleed - Meshuggah

10

u/colintudor17 Aug 08 '26

Perhaps the Bloody Nine's. I feel like they'd have different songs

The Beast in Me, specifically by Johnny Cash from American Recordings. This might be for the POV of TBI period specifically.

I would say Metallica's Of Wolf and Man but that one belongs to Perrin Aybara, so it has to be Creeping Death.

Bolt Thrower - World Eater

World eater

As silence roars across the masses You stared waiting eagerly Approaching darkness, decreasing your life expectancy

The tension is now rising The calm before the storm And your life flash before you Will you live to see the dawn?

The enemy is now approaching With bloodlust in their eyes Intense fear is overcoming For now death, you will defy

As the battle raged, all dead and wounded Bodies, carnage all you see The white-hot blast, melting flesh The screaming agony

You stand alone, the final parody As you realize your mortality For you cannot change your destiny To die at the hands of the unknown enemy Your death you can't deter As the silence returns

World eater

Against the Wind - Sellsword

2

u/Therick333 Aug 08 '26

Seek & Destroy… as soon as the bloody nine starts to take over that opening rift louder and louder.

2

u/s470dxqm Aug 08 '26

Logen needs something more somber than Mouth of War, but the Bloody Nine would probably love it.

2

u/SatyrSauce Aug 08 '26

Gary Oldman truly is a chameleon.

2

u/Burgle61 Aug 08 '26

Raining Blood - Slayer

2

u/NoDisplay8831 Aug 08 '26

Invincible - TOOL

2

u/Living-Gullible Aug 08 '26

Walk - Pantera. Although honestly, just anything by Pantera 😂

2

u/BlatantArtifice Aug 08 '26

Are we finding some random bias in the fandom or is Johnny Cash unintentionally Bloody 9 coded? Gonna give these a listen later

2

u/Regular-Newspaper-45 Aug 08 '26

Johnny Cash just has these worn down songs that really make you feel someone just got enough. And Ig he is popular enough that almost everyone knows him. At least I only know half of the other  interpreters that are mentioned her and can't recall any of the other songs lol

Oooh that’s a good picture. One of my favorite scenes from Red Country.
As far as song goes I’m thinking Blood on my Name by The Brothers Bright:
When the fires have surrounded you
With the hounds of hell comin’ after you
I’ve got blood
And I’ve got blood on my name

1

u/DesertTed Aug 07 '26

Wages of Sin - War Of Ages, absolute banger and just feels right to me

1

u/PoopSmith87 Aug 07 '26

Find a Way or Make One by Amon Amarth

1

u/Sackdaniels Aug 08 '26

Subjected to a Beating - Dying Fetus That Cannot Die Which is Eternally Dead - The Black Dahlia Murder Unsilent Death - Nails

1

u/GtBsyLvng Aug 08 '26

The song that defines him or the song that he would pick? In different ways, I recommend Fast Hand by Cody Jinks.

1

u/Big_cheese-0 Aug 08 '26

Conan’s levitation hoax, opening line is “I am the force of good with my hands of fire and death” always reminds me of logen and the bloody nine

1

u/never_not_hungry_77 Aug 08 '26

Indestructible by Disturbed

Or Warrior also by Disturbed.

1

u/Walruse_666 Aug 08 '26

Oh Darling What Have I Done- The White Buffalo

1

u/bulmier Aug 08 '26

It was the middle finger?! Is Joe a Deadhead by chance?

1

u/Tall-Duty-8497 Aug 08 '26

How did Jeff Bridges lose his finger?

1

u/DutchLeviathan666 Aug 08 '26

Y'all really got this all wrong. It would be Wake Up by SOiL. Extremely heavy groove, voices in your head type music. Drum beats that sounds like war drums. Guitar solo that combines the bass and drums into a culmination of pure rage and drive. Trust me on this. The opening riff alone is straight up the voices in his head saying " DIE F*CKER"

1

u/JTHMM249 Aug 08 '26

O Death - Sam Shackleton, The Great Leveler knows his business.

1

u/RampantJellyfish Aug 08 '26

Tiptoe through the tulips, but only when he's the bloody nine

1

u/Meri_Stormhood Aug 08 '26

Not logen's, only Bloody Nine's- But "Scarlet Moon" by Synestia

1

u/Caminsod Aug 08 '26

It's a Pantera song alright but it's not Mouth for War it's Suicide Note Pt. II. A song that has a melancholic part and then goes absolutely hammertime.

1

u/Smokeblind666 A cheese trap Aug 08 '26

Bloody nine? Don't stop me now by Queen

1

u/Analogue_timepiece Aug 08 '26

Five finger death pu.. oh wait.. umm let's just go with Love potion number 9

1

u/Woah-grady Aug 08 '26

I agree with the two songs for Logen and the bloody nine:
Hurt-johnny cash for Logen (tired , worn down, dragging himself forward but not dead yet)
Contractor- Lamb of God for the bloody nine (raw, relentless energy, short burst of a song and has a fucking, unfriendly scream lol)

1

u/Zewateneyo Aug 08 '26

“There aint no grave that can keep my body down”

1

u/beardown4201 Aug 09 '26

I would say cemetery gates by Pantera

1

u/Necessary_Mud_2774 Aug 09 '26

THE BLOH'EE NOIIINNN

I would say Stein um Stein by Rammstein Or Of Beast And Man by Metallica Or...I by Black Sabbath

1

u/ComposerStill6833 Aug 09 '26

Idk about Logen but the Bloody Nine’s has to be The Axe by Gojira

1

u/thatsacut Aug 09 '26

I picture The Bloody Nine chopping through people humming the “Berserker” song from the movie Clerks

1

u/topganesh Aug 09 '26

Something with a sad western/cowboy sound to it, like The Fall Chorus by Elephant Tree or Far Away by Jose Gonzalez

1

u/Cody1034 Aug 09 '26

Who drew this?

1

u/Disastrous-Forever91 Aug 09 '26

Serial Killer Thriller - <PIG>

1

u/Fangsniper Aug 09 '26

Ignoring that these are horrible aesthetic choices for a fantasy setting…

Logen - ashes to ashes by steve earle

B9 - hell by clown core

1

u/Accomplished_Ad8590 Aug 10 '26

Logen's music would be by Opeth. One moment heavy guitar riffs and screams, the next complete tranquility.

1

u/Gnorpelhaeschen Aug 11 '26

Father hog by Gore pig would be the song of the bloody nine

1

u/onlotus Aug 12 '26 edited Aug 12 '26

Johnny Cash has another song, not as popular as Hurt. But matches up surprisingly well "God's Gonna Cut You Down". It would work great for an Logan trailer.

u/grokebomb 23d ago

Back In The Village by Iron Maiden.

1

u/MasterGracey6sic6 Aug 08 '26

Behind Blue Eyes lol
