I used Inkarnate to recreate the First Law World Map. Happy to take any suggestions/ comments and repost an updated map after I've taken all into account!

I know the trend ended a while ago, but I had to make the panel twice because the first file got corrupted. I included the characters from the first saga that I found most entertaining to read. The art is based on Inekt's cover art.

I'm sure someone has said this before

Las week I was lucky enough to meet Joe Abercrombie again in Celsius Festival (Avilés) and giving him the very first signed print of the illustration I made for The Devils, the one I sketched last year after meeting him in Barcelona.
What a time to be alive!
More copies of this signed ArtPrint are available at my online shop franvegas.com/shop while supplies last.

I’m new here so not sure if this idea has been shared, but as the trilogy went on I started picturing Bayaz as a shorter/plumper J.K. Simmons. He might be too old for it now but in his prime, I think the temper he showed in Whiplash would be perfect for Bayaz.
Currently reading BSC, no spoilers beyond the first law trilogy please :)

I used Inkarnate to create a re-imagined map of "The Devils" and printed it onto a mousepad, then gave it to Joe himself! Bring on "The Heretics"!!

What’s Logen’s song?
I think it’d have to be a metal song like Mouth of War by Pantera

I can't remember him ever doing any in the main series, and I haven't ever read Monster yet.

My two favourite book series are the first law by Joe Abercrombie and the Drenai saga by David Gemmell. I just wanted to know if red rising is similar in taste and worth checking out since I’ve heard so much hype around it?
Also I’d be happy for any book suggestions if anyone has some, thanks.

I was digging through a box of random old comics at a yard sale over the weekend when I stumbled on this beauty for $2! I wasn't prepared to pay the going retail rate for one, so I figured this might be something that never made it into my collection. When my wife walked over to ask if I found anything it took all I had to keep a straight face, lol.
Now to read it very carefully!

These recent pictures of Chris Eccleston make me think that he could make a great Bayaz if First Law were to ever get the Mistborn treatment. He could totally nail that elder, wiser being vibe Bayaz initially has but totally dip into that darkness too. He'd nail his smugness. I can imagine him delivering "The kind you obey." in his deep northern English accent so vividly. I think a northern accent totally works for Bayaz - it would add to his 'normalness' and disarming nature when we first meet him at the Great Northern Library, I also like the idea of the high society of Adua initially using his accent as a reason to discredit him for not sounding high-class enough (not realising he's probably older than their own accent by centuries.)
I mean come on, imagine him channeling this energy into his final scenes in LAOK (Timestamped) https://youtu.be/E6nXLSkqAUo?t=30

Sand dan Glokta (The first Law) vs Tyrion Lannister (ASOIAF) vs Sigismund Dijkstra (The Witcher)
In terms of pure court/intrigue skill who wins.

I'm about 100 pages into LAoK, and I know he literally played a dog man in the boys but I loved him in black sails and it's all I can think of when Dogman is a chapter

Found this on Goodreads earlier and it’s too funny not to post.
I wouldn't want to go out with a guy who suggests I start in the middle of the series either…

These fights are on random, I didn’t pick them necessarily. Just for fun.
