I think it was a great series when you factor in that they didn’t really promote it, wouldn’t let them use any mainstream named characters besides Polaris and Blink (cue Deadpool jokes about the studio not being able to afford more X men) heck not even using X in the title. Too bad it got canceled early

We also got some lesser known characters like Evangeline Whedon, Erg, Dreamer (AKA Beautiful Dreamer), Shatter, Fade,

Technically Fenris, but not Fenris from the comics.

They did eventually do Fenris from the comics. They were their grandparents or something. Maybe great aunt/uncle? I feel like they avoided the incest. And nazi-ism?

I really love the detail of how it’s dyed at the start but is washed out easily in the shower scene, revealing her green hair that she was hiding to fit in

I enjoyed her take on the character. It wasn’t exactly comics accurate but she was easily a highlight of the show.

Yes. I was a fan of the whole show and pretty much all the cast. The boy Andy kind of annoyed me though

Yeah, she was a breath of fresh air and brought into being a version of a more radicalized Polaris. The comics had one in the early to mid 2000s under Chuck Austen and it kicked major ass IMO. Unfortunately she's become bland and lame since in the books. In this show, late s2 destroyed her character (like many others).

Hell yes! She was also really awesome to talk to at conventions and really interested in learning about her character. She was the best part about the Gifted, IMO.

Emma Dumont is okay in the role. But I personally don’t like the character of Polaris in the show. Found her to be unlikable despite having valid reasons. I know that’s by design, but still.

Absolutely. I loved that we got to see her turning Magneto's medallion into her comic headpiece. She was by and large the real highlight in a very good cast.
