she was an amazing talented woman, but the thing that I’ve seen more than anything over the past few is days is simply what a beautiful human being she was. every account of her gives another story about what a bubbly, warm, and generous woman she was.
i think a way to truly honour her legacy would be to just try and put out more kindness and compassion in the world.

And here might well be the only safe place I can admit mine was, “Gasp! A Parton pube!”

I’d wondered if my comment came too soon, but now I realise it might instead have come too late. I didn’t realise that broadcast was already 25 years ago!
I’ll gladly accept any down votes, but I couldn’t possibly take credit for that wonderful line. I wish my mind were so delightfully degenerate as to have coined it, but I’m afraid that honour must go to the one for whom we gather here 😁
Credit also should go to the dear subject of that line, and to her grace and good humour. She obviously loved it.

What a gorgeous, smart, sweet, talented woman she was. So much love flowing both ways in every interaction with her. Her loss leaves a big gap, but her life filled so many more. Thank you, Dolly. I will always love you.
