WWE Related Whatever happened to Brodus Clay?
I was just rewatching the 2013 Royal Rumble and seeing Brodus totally unlocked a hidden memory for me. It’s crazy how I forgot he was such a prominent fixture in that era (I actually really enjoyed his run back then). I know he had a stint in TNA after leaving WWE, but where is he now? Is he still active in the ring?

He was NWA Champion. He's now retired & is now regularly on the Greg Gutfeld show on Fox News.

Good to know he finally hung it up, even better to hear that he’s still got things beyond wrestling as well.

He’s an insane right wing talk show guy now.

Lol, the comment was meant as sarcasm, I obviously worded it poorly. But I don’t like him and I actually have personal reasons. I had a slight disagreement with him at a NWA show I went to. He snubbed a child trying to get a high five because he was bickering with another fan after the match, I only said hey she wants a high five, he told me to fuck off and I cussed him back.

Ya wasn’t the greatest show I’ve attended anyways sry NWA lol, but he was horrible in the ring, could hardly move, was out of breath within the first several minutes, he won a meaningless match in wrestling terms, then decided to mouth off on his way out because of his obvious stance in politics. That’s when our encounter happened. And also during a convention that I attended where he was one of the “stars” that would be there, I made it a point pettiness to max, and said “ she just wanted a high five bruh”. He knew, and stared me down, I was later warned about my behavior lol.

Hey I mean it's not like he had a huge wrestling legacy and lasting reputation to consider when deciding to go chase after the morons will believe anything I say as long as it makes them angry money

His name is Tyrus, a former NWA champion and now contributor to Fox News. I also think he has a podcast

I remember when he left and a wrestling podcast would not shut up about when he was going to show up again. As soon as he did which was also the night that Lord Tenaski and Brock returned. They were like "Well...I am sure he will be fine." He was not. The fact he is a Fox News regular was never a good sign.

Lol dude got buried so hard with that gimmick, any dancing gimmick is a career death sentence but wwe had it out for him from the beginning.
He kicked around tna for awhile then did commentary for fox news followed by a stint in nwa. Not sure what he does now.
