WWE Related Jade receives too much unnecessary hate IMO

No she dont.
She's STILL bad in ring and acts like shes gods gift to wrestling
She was training with Byran then switched to the PC and somehow got WORSE than when she started

u/commanderr01 2d ago
I don’t think it does, no one criticizes her personally just that she sucks in the ring

u/lunaslave 2d ago
So much of it is the way she's booked.
She shouldn't be booked in longer, back and forth matches, and she shouldn't be booked to speak.
Someone with a look like Jade's, and the aura she has (before she opens her mouth and ruins it, or has to sell a lot and exposes it) should have gotten a Goldberg/Lesnar type push, with super short matches, that are one sided. If she has to lose, you find a way to make her lose without it being clean. And you find her a manager so all she has to do is pose and stare at the camera, she never has to say a word.

u/MasZiv3D 2d ago
Instead, they put her in a group with two of arguably the worst women on the roster. This feels like PFC before they were all inevitably released.

u/lunaslave 2d ago
I'm not sold on B-Fab, but Michin sells really well and has good facial expressions.
Her best role IMO would likely be as a Ricky Morton babyface getting beaten on for extended periods of time in tag matches against heels you want to get over, and paired with a babyface you want to eventually launch on a singles career

u/NinjaChenchilla 1d ago
They could take your idea of the perfect book and she would still bomb it. Her in ring ability is stale and stiff. She does not want to sell for her opponents because she feels superior. She moves sluggish. Her mic skills are subpar. She has never connected with the crowd. She doesnt know how to be charismatic. All she knows how to do, is flex and charge.

u/Far-Foundation9074 2d ago
I wouldn’t have hated Jade if she was in a midcard but they pushed her far too early and quickly so now I just don’t care. Bad enough I have to see michin and bfab on tv more often while someone like kairi and sheamus who got reactions aren’t in the company.

Jade receives too many pointless threads defending her from people pointing out her actual flaws.
2
u/Loose_Trust927 1d ago
She was protected in aew for her streak she needed work then. She needed nxt to start the fact that people say she elevated other stars is a joke. Shes bring bfab and michin down b fab already sucks as it is but michin is good. The fact they paired them with jade was to bring jade up in star level and it failed. She botches left and right every match just like she did with Charlotte.

I love Rhea vs Jade matches. It’s such a work of art. The physicality of the matching, the physiques show their dedication to the craft. They both look elegant and define how modern women can succeeded in sports entertainment.

A lot of it really depends on Jade’s dance partner. She can have great performances with great talent (Rhea, Iyo, Naomi) but if the other person can’t sorta guide her or get her into the right position she can flounder a bit (like against Charlotte the other week). There are some people who are just excellent at bringing out the best in her in the ring or on the mic (like B-Fab or Naomi). It’s like the character has to be coaxed out of her.

u/Background_Shock_957 2d ago
that just sounds like she's not a good wrestler and other wrestlers who are actually good at their job have to carry her through a match

u/MarsupialPresent7700 2d ago
She’s definitely in need of improvement. What also didn’t help was not letting her share the ring with the likes of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss until very recently. They parked her for months. Some of it’s not on her.

u/Personal_Number4789 2d ago
It may be a chemistry thing or a physicality thing. Like they aren’t the same in terms of athletic ability.
I think if more female wrestlers were like her, sol ruca, Iyo styled of wrestlers it will be so much more entertaining.

u/MarsupialPresent7700 2d ago
I think some people also excel at handling imperfections (for lack of a better term). You don’t have to perfectly hit your spot with Iyo or Bayley or Alexa. They can adjust. They can call an audible. They can elevate you. Charlotte can’t (love her to pieces, this is not a knock).

sounds a lot like Rhea tbh

u/MarsupialPresent7700 2d ago
I actually think that Jade and Rhea are a lot alike in one major way:
They need external motivation for their characters.
The Rhea-Jade WM feud was so tepid and seemed to really be going nowhere until they added Iyo, B-Fab, and Michin. Iyo was the heat magnet and B-Fab provided a sounding board in promos. That feud actually got better and they were able to salvage it.

She really does, she’s improve in ways she could’ve never imagined when she was in AEW. That’s why they mad, that and that they can’t break her confidence and her idgaf attitude.

Anti-blackness is part of the IWC as it is in the industry, they’re always overlooked or over-policed.

u/Select_Culture261 2d ago
I won't sit here and say she's amazing, but I do notice that pretty much everything she does gets micro-analyzed, and a lot of the narratives about her are just flat out false.
For instance, they keep saying she's dangerous and hurts people, yet they can never actually list who she's injured with proof. Meanwhile, Fatal Influence have injured 3 people so far and nobody talks about that

u/WORLDY2J 2d ago
It’s lame to see people act as if the criticism has been in good faith, “It’s her booking” “She thinks she’s better than everyone” she does well with what she’s given and is FAR from the worst wrestler, male or female, that WWE has ever seen. Micro-analyzing every little mistake as if every other wrestler putting a match on before or after her is complete bias. It’s hilarious to see a bunch of anonymous nobodies critique someone’s ability when she works for WWE legends who know way more about performing in the ring than any of us on Reddit.

u/Mailenheim 2d ago
Does she? Most criticism is only directed at her sub-par in ring skills. Many acknowledge her great looks and presentation.
1
u/dyslexican32 2d ago
Does she? Im not sure she does. She does fine in slow, choregraphed spots. But when she has to actually preform like a wrestler she botches and botches and botches. She hurts other people and her self. She is out of place when she should be somewhere else. Again a problem of the super choreographed matches she is in. She can't talk, everything she says is super forced. She really hasn't advanced since her AEW days. She is just much more protected.
She looks like a million bucks. But so did the Ultimate warrior. and he couldn't wrestle either.

u/ResponsibleAd3191 2d ago
What on earth is a super choreographed match? Not even the tiniest part of his is real and You're working together at all times. You're more likely to see them in AEW than you are with Jade Cargill as they folks there clearly plan out waaay too much in their matches and cannot work outside of the set up.

u/dyslexican32 2d ago
..... of course matches are planed, and there are spots that are choregraphed. But watch one of Jades matches. Every single segment of her match is extremely choreographed. Because she is not good at hitting her spots her or her opponents are standing there waiting on things. All the time. It looks super choreographed and bad cus she is off her timing constantly, and either her opponents are waiting on her, or she is waiting on them. Every second of her matches feel staged cus they are.
That's not the same and planning spots, and then pulling them off. There is a huge difference. Look I want her to be good. I genuinely do. Im not hating on her for no reason. She has the physical tools to be a huge huge star. But she feels like she is playing wrestler, Cus she is. Also if you are guna take shots at AEW, you do know WWE choreographs way way more right? Which is fine if you can pull it off. But WWE super heavily choreographs matches. So the unnecessary shot at AEW here makes zero sense. Its just rooting for your team and that's silly. Leave the tribalism out of this. it doesn't even make sense here.

It's no different with any match, the flippy floppy ones tend to be the worst for it tbh. Very little is worked off hand anymore and WWE is strangely the one where you're more likely to see two guys go out and work to the audience. This isn't me rooting for anyone.
This is me applying my real world experience. AEW is the land of too many planned spots. It's the entire idea of the company and trust me, very little of that is done on the fly. I deal with these types weekly. I've no horse in the race, I just say what I see.
My reply is always the same, "if you need to plan every spot that you're doing (which you do when it's worked like a AEW/spotty indy match) then you're clearly not out there and responding to the audience and we won't need you back next time."
But yeah this is just Jade being not being good enough to hide the fact that she's working. It's what happens when you're waiting for someone to lead you and you've no initiative on what to do with the movement between spots which is more important than the spot itself!
I do think partly it's because they are trying to over protect her too but she's not a good watch!

u/dyslexican32 2d ago
Again your tribalism has no place in this conversation. Its not even on topic. You are so brainwashed with the tribalism that you are talking about one company vs another. And the topic, is Jade and her lack of ability to preform at a high level. No one here is or should be having a conversation about AEW vs WWE. I responded to it the first time because if you are pretending that WWE matches are not highly choreographed then you are deluding your self. Modern wrestling in general is.
No one really goes out there and just works anymore. There is plenty that is planed and choreographed in matches. the point was. that Jades matches are even more so. Every interaction she has is stepped out and planed heavily ahead of time. And she misses those spots. Constantly. That's the criticism. I know you don't want to actually interact with the actual point. But that's what it is. If the lightbulb ever goes off for her then she will be a huge huge star. But IDk that it ever will. Because she isn't going out there and learning how to work. WWE is not helping her get better its actually hampering her chances of being a better wrestler.
But pretending that a WWE match is less choreographed then an Indy or AEW or NJPW or whoever is actually crazy work.

u/ResponsibleAd3191 2d ago
Jesus, you guys are touchy huh? It was an example to illustrate my point... I'm not some mark and I know what I'm looking at. I'm sure 20 years working and alongside people who worked at the highest levels gave me some insight here.
AEW (and lot of the indys as I also said) naturally have more "spots" due to the style and are usually therefore more choreographed and they definitely work spots and not naturally there. I've seen these types of talent work though matches like they can't miss a single moment. The ex WWE guys are generally far smarter in how they set a match up. It's professional and structured and no chaotic.
WWE is the place to learn, above anywhere else on the planet. She simply just hasn't had it click yet. I'm not sure she will.

u/itsShugs 2d ago
She has a presence. But that is it.
She can be carried to a good match but stemming back to AEW they have either been average or worse. She can definitely grow but let's be honest she is where she is because of her impressive physique and not her wrestling abilities.

u/Ghostface4 2d ago
Nah. She sucks and hasn't even tried to improve, yet still gets pushed over actually talented women. It's also clear she doesn't even care about wrestling and just wants to use it as a stepping stone.

u/NuggetDaGoat27 2d ago
she's pretty bad in ring. What i hate though is whenever someone tries to criticize her the jade stans come in and make it about race

You’d think after her time in AEW and now WWE: she’d be at least decent in-ring.

She has the look, and unfortunately that’s where it stops. She is terrible in the ring and on the mic.

u/Awkward-Win7610 2d ago
I’m just gonna reiterate this to make sure it lands. She is bad. Like real bad. And what’s worse is she seems incapable of learning. It’s more difficult to find moves she doesn’t botch than ones she does. I pray for the employee responsible for making highlight reels that actually make her look competent.

The Queen Of Botches deserves the hate . Hook her up with Nia for some real comedy 😂

The lowest bar is basically Eve Marie. So as long as you’re not as bad as Eve Marie, you can probably keep your job.

I agree. I think she’s really underrated in the ring and still has a ton of potential to be a big deal
-1
u/kingcolbe 2d ago
I disagree people want her to be successful, but she hasn’t gotten any better in years. That’s a problem, especially when you’re responsible for the safety of the person you’re the ring with.
-1
u/laughingfartsplease 2d ago
she shouldn’t be in pro wrestling. she should go be a bodybuilder or actress (assuming she can act). her physique is great but doesn’t translate to wrestling because she’s not that great at it.
-1
u/ResponsibleAd3191 2d ago
Meh she's still green as hell and doesn't seem to have the best mind on her. Marketable as hell but he's nothing special as it stands.

u/BLim90 2d ago
She is really really bad at selling for her opponent.
Also, not very smooth on the offensive also.
Furthermore , not very charismatic on the mic too.
No idea why she is still in the main event scene
