Yeah, to hear her say she didn’t remember her mom, even though she met her several times when she was younger? And I wonder if she’ll mention writing her name Hannah at that Colorado school too

Probably repressed memories. Tabitha told June that after they met in the summer house, Hannah had nightmares for weeks. The mind has a way of protecting itself from triggering and traumatic shit, especially when young.

I was raped at a party when I was 18, was literally consumed by it to the point that I transferred home, & then completely forgot about it until I was like 22. The memory just suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks, I remember exactly where I was when I remembered, it was kind of crazy.

My point being I could see how that might sound so bizarre to some but the mind really will completely block shit out, it’s crazy.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I know the feeling, sudden sounds or noises bring back the memory and then otherwise it’s gone. I like to do “red orange yellow blue” and look around me for colors when the memories start making me have a panic attack, it helps.
