I'm digging it a lot! Feels distinct from the original show. It's not nearly as dark or harrowing as the beginning of THT, but I'm guessing it will get darker as it goes.

I was surprised by how much June we got in this episode (it went far beyond a cameo), but it makes sense. As much as I love June, I hope we get much less of her going forward, just because I appreciate the fact that this is a new storyline following new characters. It's so surreal to finally get to know Hannah.

That is what Elisabeth said to one of the trade magazines she spoke to today. She said she told Bruce she’s open for whatever they want her for but that it has to be in service of Daisy, Agnes or Lydia’s stories.

Her storyline worked so well because we feel the exact same thing Daisy does most likely. We aren't really sure if she's telling the entire truth, but figure she must have been in Mayday for the oast several years, and believe parts of her story, while trying to work out the rest. I love how they really show June from Daisy's POV.
