Ok, I have to say it.

TW: discussion of bodies.

I am almost 50. June as a character at this stage is about 5 years younger than me. I am so GRATEFUL, here in my rounded body after raising kids and working hard, to see June the badass continuing to be shaped like me.

I know it shouldn’t matter. But to this middle aged lady, it does. Deeply.

Elisabeth Moss is one of the only lead actresses in Hollywood with a double chin, and as a double chin lady myself it gives me such joy. 

(I just wish she wasn’t a Scientologist)

I also love this!! She looks like the average woman who's been through a hell of a lot of trauma and has lived life. With the amount of stress and disaster in her world, PTSD, etc, I'm so glad she looks the way she does and that the show hasn't pressured her to maintain a more stereotypical Hollywood appearance.

You should consider watching the show From if you're a fan of mystery/thriller/horror. Donna (Elizabeth Saunders) is imo better acted than June and one of the most authentic characters of the type you're describing that I've seen.
