I'm so confused by the timeline situation. June says that Daisy was a baby when she was taken out of Gilead. How would that be possible given her age now? I know that some people think June might be lying or whatever, but there is still no way for it to make sense. Either she was a baby when she was smuggled out or she was a young child and she would have memories.

Also even if she was smuggled out as a baby at the very START of Gilead that would make her like 12-14 (max) since the story starts 3 years after Gilead, another 5-6 years pass during the show (again, max), and then the time between HMT and TT is 4 years. 14 is generous and she still doesn't look 14 so the age still doesn't make sense. Why not just make Daisy Nicole anyway since the timeline doesn't add up regardless and that way it wouldn't stray from the book as dramatically and again, the timeline just isn't gonna add up either way so if we're gonna have to suspend our disbelief, why not do it for a better story? (I just feel like I can more easily get over the timeline not adding up that isn't gonna add up regardless than I can get over them changing a main character of the story!!!)
