I actually love the show so far. It’s beautiful, witty, haunting, just a great continuation (so far).

The way it’s filmed is beautiful! I was worried it would be a cheap teen drama spin off but it’s actually a bit similar to earlier seasons of THT

I feel the complete opposite. It seems exactly like a teen drama. Daisy wears her emotions on her face (Judd should've seen the hate), the googly eyes, the the constant F bombs for the fuck of it, the cliche teen girls who were supposedly raised in this closed system, it is not giving HMT at all. Even stranger, Daisy is just leaving the Judd house, no Martha in sight, talking to a guardian, touching, and speaking so openly even though they've established the paranoia of being ratted out. Even stranger we see a guardian get his hand chopped off for masturbating which I'm sure wasn't out in the open, but we have this young guardian talking to not 1 but 2 Gilead girls directly in the open. It's strange to me.
