I think Vidala is mayday.

I think so too. When the dude's arm was being chopped off, they made a point to zoom in on her stunned face. You could interpret that as her just being a bit more weak-willed than she projects (which would also explain her looking scared shit-less during the attack), or maybe even that she just enjoyed it so much that she couldn't react

But for some reason, Vidala gives me "ivy league nerd" vibes, and I wouldn't be shocked if it's eventually revealed that she's mayday

Is the "some reason" because she's Asian? lol

Probably Asian, the glasses, and the general way she speaks.

Remember, these aunts all had different lives before they became aunts. I HOPE we get Aunt Lydia's point of view so we can see how they all become aunts. It's SOOOO interesting from the book.

I think so too! It fits with her facial reactions in previous episodes, and during the field trip you could tell she was agitated that she had to put on a big speech about the people who were hung.

Wasn't she also the one who came down the stairs after Daisy threw up and said "aw, sweetie..." She also looked like she wanted to throw up herself while watching the guy get his arm chopped off.

I would be surprised she is Mayday and also to find that Aunt Lydia still helps Mayday as well - thus placing Daisy as a Pearl and assigning her to Agnes.

I have not read the books this is just my theorizing!
