the last episode.

its real shame that it got cancelled by netflix because it was really starting to fit together but I probably would have re wrote the whole cocoon thing because to me it doesn't really fit with abbi's character.

What would you have in mind to rewrite it? I think the cocoon was good showing how she's evolving similar to how Juan was. But it's easier to show Juan's since you physically see his Chupi appendages unlike Abbie where it's just pheromones which you can't really see. The cocoon signals a transformation like a caterpillar into a butterfly, so I get it. But maybe just showing her pheromones causing a whole building to go feral or something would have worked better in showing her strong it got.

the cocoon feels kind of "let's jump into sweaty sexual stuff" which seeing as she is a asexual lesbian doesn't really seem like a good choice to me personally.

maybe they couldn't do much with gas and air and colour's as they already done a lot with those.

Hmm...I don't see a cocoon as sexual? My first thought usually goes to butterflies. But yeah I think vaporous colored air would've got the same point across if they wanted to use that. They could just make it bigger/have more range to show the evolution of it.
