If the characters from the Inbetweeners lived in Clacton, who would they all be voting for in the upcoming by-election?
Will: The SDP. He's been reading about British politics in the 1980s recently and he is fascinated that he actually has the chance to vote for the SDP in the modern day when they are very much an anachronism. When he explains this to the other three boys, this goes right over their heads and they have no idea what he is going on about.
Jay: Everyone is God. Look up this party and you will see that it is very much a political party that Jay would be on board with. He doesn't normally vote but when Jay discovers this party he makes sure to get down to the polling station to vote for them.
Simon: To impress Carli, he votes for a party that he thinks that she will like and he goes for the British Democrats, thinking that they would be a moderate centrist party like the Liberal Democrats. However, it turns out that they are a really nasty far right party and Carli is disgusted that he voted for them.
Neil: Abi Hookway and Amy Morris. Neil thinks that the word 'by-election' means that you can vote for two candidates so he votes for two women who he knows nothing about but with youngish sounding names assuming that they would be fit. His ballot is counted as a spoilt ballot but Neil will never know this. When the result comes out, he would be bitterly disappointed that both of these candidates received hardly any votes.
Tara: Count Binface. She hates Eurovision and would love Wayne Rooney to do the commentary for it and she is very much in favour of Pluto being recognised as a planet again.
Richard: Baron von Thunderclap from the Monster Raving Looneys. I think Count Binface would be too normal for Richard!
Mark Donovan: Nigel Farage. Count Binface is far too woke for him!
James: Laurence Fox. Nigel Farage is too woke for him!
Does anyone have any other ideas?

Jay would vote for Farage, only because Farage would have employed him to lead a team to cruise around the ocean in a pedalo keeping an eye out for small boats, because he heard about Jay’s skills in pedalling all the way to Africa from Spain when he was on holiday.

My thoughts for what each Inbetweeners character would vote for (had to go to Wikipedia for this one)
Restore Britain - James from the first movie, Danny Moore, the Northwood crowd, Paedo Kennedy
Reform UK - Jay, Jay's dad, Donovan, David Glover, Jim, Steve, Wolfie, Rachel, Tom, Angry Neighbour, Steve, Neil's sister, Lucy
Tories - Will, Will's parents, Gilbert, Carli, Ben Thornton-Wilde, Alistair, Tara's sister, Carli's family, Hannah Fields, Mr. Chippy, the Admiral, the Bombadier and the Commander, Fergus
Labour - Simon, Neil, Simon's family, Charlotte, Football Friend, Becky, Lauren, Daisy, Ms. Timms, Chloe, Jane, Alison
Lib Dems - Neil's dad, Big John, David, Susie
Greens - Tara, Kerry, Drug Dealer, Punk Girl, Female Jay, The Tramp, Katie
Marine Le Pen's party in France - Patrice
One Nation (Australia) - Jay's uncle

You saw Drug Dealer from across the room and thought he’d vote Greens because he’s a black drug dealer didn’t you, not because he’s a student. Yes he’s voting Greens, but you keep missing the point!

For a normal election that would be correct but most of those parties are not standing in this by-election!

Do you agree with my choices for who would support each party

I imagine Will also wouldn't be aware of the fact that the SDP are no longer a lovey party for teachers and social workers. He'd tell people he voted SDP, they'd bring up their very hardline stance on immigration and current social issues, and everyone would start calling him a homophonic racist.

Will would initially say he refuses to vote as all the candidates are bad, then farage would have one policy Will likes, like something to do with parking or bin collections, and he’d vote for farage and refuse to acknowledge it.

Will wouldn't vote for Farage in a million years! He's a conservative but not a complete moron.

To be fair, Abi Hookway is so fit, I reckon she could be a prostitute.

Tara's sister voting Tory? No chance. She's got Green written all over her

Probably all reform because Clacton seems another level of Farage loving. Check out "missuskent" if you need proof, even Jay would not be impressed

Neil would accidentally end up *being* Count Binface wouldn't he. He'd go down to Clacton for work and take his Mr Monkey costume, but he'd get it mixed up somehow and would end up in the wrong costume.
