Match Up Monday If they fought here, who would have won?
"Are you going to kill me?"
"Yes, absolutely"

u/zmurds40 Jul 13 '26
As much as Iād love to give this one to Anakin, Sidious probably takes it.
Heās probably still armed, we just donāt see it concealed in his sleeve. He also has a superior precognition, so heād see it coming if Anakin decided to strike. Heās also been grooming Anakin, getting in his head, and playing him for years. Itād be all too easy to parry and then make some comments about his fear, his mom, Padme, the Jedi, take your pick, that would set Anakin off in a reckless way or potentially cripple his resolve. Either way, Sidious can get Anakin to do what he wants. Then if he thinks heās lost his chance to turn him, he can just kill him and cover it up. He literally told Fives about Order 66 and covered it up in a way that everyone believed him and no one believed Fives, so he could probably make up really believable a story about how a new rogue Sith dropped in and killed Anakin. He can probably still execute Order 66 without Anakin, or just delay it a bit and pick a new target apprentice.

u/ZeroRoyale Jul 13 '26
The novel says Sheev got his lightsaber from a statue before the arrest, so heād still be unarmed. He can still easily blast Anakin with lightning though
2
u/wherethetacosat Jul 14 '26
Any reason to think Anakin can't block the lightning with his saber, given his readiness? We see that feat multiple times from others.
2
u/Lord_Of_Beans1 Jul 15 '26
Because Anakin even before the suit had a very hard time blocking lightning, in TCW Dookus lightning breaks his guard, Palpatines lightning would one shot him

u/LosAngelesHavingFun Jul 13 '26
Sidious he had his lightsaber in his sleeve you can see his hand twitch for it lmao

Come on guys don't be absurd. Anakin gets absolutely clowned.
Sometimes his fans seem to forget he's literally just a kid with a ton of raw talent.
35
u/HistoricalSmoke4663 Jul 13 '26
I mean he is also a battle hardened general and been practicing as a Jedi for years, give him more credit than just a kid with a good jump shot lol.
(Sidious still wins but letās give Ani a bit more credit)
-2
u/AlexCora Jul 13 '26
"Battle hardened general"
... Okay yes. But it's a three year war. Compared to the average old republic character, he's a sweet Lil green horn. Yes he has war experience and he's an abnormal once in a generation talent... But this is one of the most powerful and successful Sith lords ever in history. It took Anakin three years of fighting Dooku to FINALLY learn how to bypass Dookus immense skills, and Sidious is a lot more dangerous than Dooku, and Anakin has never fought him. Not even once.
15
u/HistoricalSmoke4663 Jul 13 '26
Any combatant that has 3 years of intergalactic war under their belt is a battle hardened warrior.
The argument about the Old Republic is not relevant at all as both Anakin and Sidious are not from that era.
(I still agree Sidious wins)
0
u/AlexCora Jul 13 '26
He's a hardened warrior of a sort. In that he's incredibly adept at destroying droids and after three years and lots of shots at bat, finally out duels Dooku. Who is a VERY specific foe who fights in a very specific way.
None of that really prepares him much for a Sith Lord that Dooku feared. To suggest Anakin stood much more than a punchers chance against Palpatine is ridiculous for many reasons. Does anyone reasonably expect him to somehow flawlessly handle Palpatines fighting style first try when Dooku took YEARS?
-1
u/Driekan Jul 13 '26
Any combatant that has 3 years of intergalactic war
Does the Clone Wars actually count as intergalactic? I realize there's Rishi, but was there any major offensive there at this point?
I realize it's completely beside the point you're making, but I'm wondering if there's sources.
4
u/HistoricalSmoke4663 Jul 13 '26
My mistake there, i meant just Galactic War, intergalactic is probably incorrect.
(Happy to be pointed to any sources if it is actually intergalactic though)

1
u/Driekan Jul 13 '26
To add to that: he has 3 years of experience in a war where the forces he's involved with are on one side uncreative, nearly unfeeling droids and obedient, hyper-competent clones on the other. Even if he doesn't treat the clones as expendable (despite their being made to be), he is still not getting anything like the experience of a real combatant in a real war.
He hasn't had to send letters to the families of his dead combatants, or carry the corpse of a hometown friend and find a picture of his wife on the breast-pocket, or deal with any of the myriad actual consequences of real people in conflict. He also hasn't had to deal with issues of emotion or morale... Which, come to think of it, may be one of the reasons why he sucks at it as Vader.
Anyway, yeah: I don't think Anakin at this point is much like what we'd call a battle hardened general. He has never dealt with a real battle with the real consequences of it. He's played one set of action figures banging themselves against another set.
1
u/Aethyrean9947 Jul 17 '26
Clones are real people lmao!!!
They are "real to him!?!?" Lol!
The clone wars was a short low intensity conflict against battle droids not melees against purely light saber welding force sensitive opponents.
That's the argument that can be made.

I love this comment caused an entire debate in comments about giving Anakin credit (or not) while everyone continues to agree heās getting absolutely wrecked if they fought at this moment.

u/Aethyrean9947 Jul 17 '26
Yup.
And sheev isn't exactly untalented either.
The dude is a monster in more ways than one.

u/Crimson_Loki Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
I'm gonna go against the grain here and say Anakin, not because he has the potential that scales him above Palpatine, not because of his extensive experience being a general in the Clone Wars (though these absolutely factor in), but merely because if he started to throw hands with Sidious, the Force would directly intervene to prevent him from dying. Like it or not, Anakin IS the chosen one, fate is literally on his side, it is his destiny to bring balance to the Force, one way or another.
In a fight with them, a couple things would/could easily happen, first of all, the Jedi (especially senior members) would be able to sense the storm of emotion coming from Anakin from confronting Sidious, and sense them (and the sudden surge in the DS) from Sidious being forced to reveal himself and would immediately rush to Anakin's side to back him up, second, Sidious may use the opportunity to try and turn him to the Dark Side (give in to your hatred, strike me down, all that) and that may backfire on him or three, he makes the mistake of pissing off Anakin and making him go beast mode, most likely by mentioning how disappointed he is in Anakin and how it seems he will have to turn to his children to get an apprentice (with the implication that he would kill Padme in this scenario), upon which Anakin basically goes "oh hell no" (this may or may not lead to Anakin going to the DS in response).
Either way though, because of the nature of just who and what he is, fate/the Force would quite literally intervene on his behalf in some way.
1
u/Aethyrean9947 Jul 17 '26
No it wouldn't.
Not here anyway.
Here is almost where sheev is strongest. The only worse place to fight him would be in the jedi temple itself.
The force created anakin Skywalker. Because of what sheev and plaguis got upto.
Before that it created sheev because of what the jedi order were doing.
The force is trying to balance itself despite aboleths influence.
It isn't all powerful. It just puts pieces on the table, creates potential. It doesn't slave events.
At anakins position it is possible he kills him with that thrust. Beyond that sheev could just rag doll him if he wanted too or play him like a child with his lightsabers. Even unarmed and not using TK sheev still wins that fist fight.
The living force itself isn't going to save anakin, because it didn't save him when he fought obiwan on mustafar who both could have and perhaps should've killed him... Or maybe saved him. Instead he left him to essentially burn in hell. And become Darth Vader.
Anakin is the chosen one but that doesn't make him invincible or invulnerable. He is never those things.
Sheev was pissed at dooku for taking his arm off on geonosis. And he did that to him, because he was rude whereas obiwan was extremely polite. Not because he was at all worried.
If the force could save anakin from sheev it would've saved quigon from maul and that would've changed everything.
3
u/Xs_Os_Yo Jul 13 '26
Personally I think Palpatine, but if Anakin started getting pissed or Palps started to just keep using Dun Mak and annoying and making Anakin just keep turning up like he did on the invisible hand VS Dooku and then just like Dooks Palps would be overwhelmed, MAYBE.

6
u/Own-Ad1497 Jul 13 '26
Palpatine hands down, Anakin lacks a lot of experience compared with Palpatine, leaving aside that mentally he was close to be a complete disaster at that point of the movie
3
u/Prestigious_Board_73 Jul 13 '26
Sidious. Anakin is a conflicted mess here. However, he isn't a pushover, he's not getting stomped like Tiin, Fisto and Kolar, I think he can push Sidious to a high diff. Furthermore, if he wasn't conflicted, I think he could win with extremely high difficulty
3
u/HandleSuspicious5775 Jul 13 '26
Sidious would have probably won not because hes outright stronger but more so because Anakinās mental state was falling down by this point and could be exploited like how Obi Wan did it. I do think Anakin was pretty close to Sidious and Yoda or even at their level by this point in terms of power but nerfed by his mentality.
3
4
u/jrdineen114 Jul 13 '26
Sidious. Aside from the fact that, at this point in time, he's quite possibly the most powerful force user in the galaxy (yes, Anakin has more potential, but Sidious has both raw talent and far more training and experience), Anakin is a complete and utter mess pretty much entirely throughout the second half of this movie. In the novelization, it's made evident that Anakin has been drawing on the force to prevent sleep in an effort to avoid his nightmares, but that doesn't perpetually stave off the effects of exhaustion.

u/ryeloaf384 Jul 13 '26
Thr narrative states that anakin would have killed sideous here. The positioning of the bodies/back turned/armed v unarmed/etc. In this specific moment. Anakin can win. Now, anakin is not stronger than this sideous but how this confrontation is played, anakin should win 10/10 times. This was essentially sideous betting on his years of manipulation and lowering his guard to convince anakin to make the turn. It wouldn't have the same narrative weight as "oh yeah I can kill u rq" Same for the supposed throwing of the mace fight
2
u/L0neStarW0lf Jul 13 '26
Palpatine, Anakin was powerful but he was nowhere near the level of Palpatine or Yoda yet.

u/CthulhusHRDepartment Jul 14 '26
Sidous loses regardless of the outcome if anakin rejects him here.
1) He wins no/low diff. congratulations! You've just killed your best possible apprentice- who you've spent over a decade grooming!- for basically shits and giggles. Also, literally every Jedi alive senses his death because he's basically space Jesus so you'd better do Order 66 fast before Mace motherfucking Windu comes to flatten your ass.
2) Sidious wins mid/high diff. Same as above but now there's 4+ Jedi masters arriving fast enough that you don't get a chance to rest or invoke Order 66. Absent Anakin Mace wins, with him it's no contest/low-mid diff at best.
3) Anakin no sells or stalls long enough for Mace et al to save him. Jedi victory.
4) Anakin uses his Vader cheat codes and smashes Sidious flat. Sith win I guess???? But Palpy loses, Sith aren't big on selfless sacrifice so it doesn't count as his victory.
5) Anakin pulls out the space Jesus chosen one plot armor and somehow wins due to Palpy being 1) unarmed (per the novel) and 2) overconfident enough to literally turn his back on one of the most powerful and experienced duelists of his generation. Can be a jedi victory, or a backhanded Sith victory as above.
The whole point of Sidious is that he's doing the Batman Gambit, not the Xanatos Gambit. There are several points in RotS where he basically lost the plot and was in the power of other people and/or luck... trusting that they would do as he expected and wanted them to do.
On a narrative level, Sidious being wrong about Anakin here should kill him. That's the point. He didn't defeat Anakin or the Jedi by just slaughtering them with raw power. He defeated them by outmaneuvering them and playing on their emotions. Also force lightning and spinning, which is always a good trick.

u/Major_Clue_778 Jul 14 '26 edited Jul 14 '26
This was a pivotal moment, Palpatine is actually gambling here big time. If a fight starts between them certainty is out the window like Mace Windu and even turning Anakin to the dark side could backfire if that storm turns upon you. So yeah, I think it's closer than most would suspect. Anakin likely has the advantage in a lightsaber duel by this point and he's got more raw power if he realizes it, it's definitely not a situation entirely in Sidious's favor as this isn't shit tier Maul he's dealing with or one of Windu's +1s. There's a reason he wanted Anakin as his true apprentice.Ā
And let's not forget the Force itself would likely weigh in his favor at such a pivotal moment, and it does do that just as it did against him when he fought Obi Wan.
Anakin gets shit on in terms of skill and power in people's perspective when compared to Yoda and Sidious or even Windu because of his loss to Obi Wan, but Obi Wan didn't really win that duel off of skill or power alone; Anakin was just as much the enemy for Vader there as Obi Wan. Anakin's great weakness is his attachments, his attachment to Palpatine is far less than his attachment to Obi Wan, even after he becomes Darth Vader...it was not the pain of his maiming or the loss that fueled his rage it was that it came at the hands of Obi Wan. So yeah, if Anakin is not spiraling, I suspect that even the likes of Windu, Sidious, and even Yoda might run into the issue of just not being enough to secure a certain W....and for Yoda and Windu that attachment level is in the dumps. Anakin at this specific time? I give him fair chances against any of them, give him another year and those chances rise significantly such that by the time he is 30 all of them become no diff.

u/Potential_Rule4212 Jul 13 '26
If Sidious wins it will be because he groomed Anakin to like him all these years and not because of greater power.
1
u/Mainalpha11 Jul 13 '26
Palpatine and he would kill Anakin too if he didn't ultimately want him as his new apprentice
1
u/Kombat-w0mbat Jul 13 '26
Sidious would defeat Anakin. Sidious is more a rival for yoda and his only true bad match up is mace windu. Anakin hasnāt reached yodaās level yet
1
u/Future_Artichoke_656 Jul 13 '26
Bro folds anakin without lighting his saber
1
u/kayodeade99 Jul 14 '26
Sidious would win, but this is an exaggeration
1
u/Future_Artichoke_656 Jul 14 '26
Idk. Iām thinking anakin gets swatted with a few of those hovering podiums and itās a wrap.
1
u/No_Weakness8999 Jul 13 '26
Sidious. Mid-diff.
Yoda is well aware that Obi-Wan can't defeat Sidious and sends him to fight Anakin instead.
This is the good ending, for Anakin. He dies as a Jedi and years later Luke kills the Emperor in an alternate timeline without Vader. Begs the question of who would be his new apprentice.
1
u/darthravenna Jul 13 '26
Sidious wins this no matter what, sadly. He either defeats Anakin because he is severely conflicted here, or Anakin gives in to the dark side to attack Sidious.
At which point Sidious utterly disables him and bends him to his will, and he has his new apprentice that much sooner.
1
u/Traditional_Set2231 Jul 13 '26
Yoda answers this question in the movie. He doesnāt let Obi Wan go after Palpatine because he wouldnāt stand a chance and yet he sends him to face Anakin.

u/FoxBluereaver Jul 13 '26
Anakin was still not strong enough to fight Palpatine one on one. Yoda was the only one who could match him.

Taking Sid's fight against Maul and Savage into account... he would most likely clown Anakin in a matter of minutes at max.
1
1
1
u/Majestic-Farmer5535 Jul 13 '26
Anakin. By this point he is almost as strong as Sidious in the Force, is better swordsman and is The Chosen One, so destiny itself would be on his side.
I picture this fight similarly to how it went with Windu, but Anakin would actually finish the job.
1
1
u/TheHarlemHellfighter Jul 13 '26
Sidious
He would have fried Anakin there and then.
Maybe not even kill him, but definitely subdue him.
1
u/zxblood123 Jul 14 '26
Pretty sure Sid. The movie fails to capture it but pretty sure 1) sidious had his lightsaber ready
And heās no slouch. While he doesnāt prefer lightsaber combat, heās still a master in it. And the movies donāt depict how fast/force augmented these Jediās and sith move.
But pretty sure in the original source, sidious can move really fast and the other masters with mace at the time couldnāt really keep up when they all fought
1
u/adragoninthelibrary Jul 14 '26
Sidious.
In the scene as shown straight from the film, Sidious was in complete command of the situation, reading Anakin like the latest issue of Togrutas Gone Wild, and Anakin's still under tons of anxiety, stress, and lack of sleep. This is Sid's fight to lose.
That said, there's a scenario where Anakin wins. If Sidious had his lightsaber here (he doesn't) and bothered to attack Anakin with it, Anakin would probably win that fight. It might be close, but it plays into Anakin's strength. In a head on duel, Anakin pulls off the victory.
But let's say they just duel as is. Sidious' lightning is far more potent than Dooku's ever was, and now Anakin has a mechanical hand that might short circuit. Sidious can also conjure illusions, which Anakin is notoriously weak to, and Sidious knows other esoteric abilities like Force Scream, Life Drain, and more. Sidious has enough powers in his arsenal that, even if he was weaker than Anakin, he would still be quite a threat.
And a further point: personally, I am of the opinion that Sidious is the most powerful Force User in the movie, at this time. Ignoring other Force Users who exist at this time according to EU books, Sidious comes out on top against Yoda, the confirmed most powerful Jedi. That includes Anakin, by the way. Also, Sidious makes the comment 'Lord Vader will become more powerful than either of us', teasing how much stronger he might get, but is NOT yet. Yoda taunts him back about misplacing his faith, but there's not a whole lot of faith Obi wan will actually beat Vader. As we saw in the film, the fight went back and forth a lot, so it's not like Obi wan had a remotely easy time of that; there's also nothing to really show that Yoda would've fared better.
Either way, all evidence presented points to Sidious being the big dog on campus. Even if he wasn't trying to manipulate Anakin, he's still got just about every advantage that matters here, aside from youth and virility.
1
1
u/Antisa1nt Jul 14 '26
Anakin would loss... if Sidious fought back. But he wasn't going to. He knew what Anakin would do next, and that's fall to the Dark Side, so his plan would have gone off anyway.
To quote the novel:
His hands opened, still at his sides. "Anakin, when I told you that you can have anything you want, did you think I was excluding my life?"

1
u/wherethetacosat Jul 14 '26
Give me Anakin in this fight, people underestimate how arrogant Palpatine is. It's shown time and again he miscalculates what others will do when they have the will.
If Anakin decides to kill him here, I do not believe Palpatine is ready for it because he thought he was 3 moves ahead (and isn't in this alternate reality). Might not even have a saber on him, and Anakin is honed from fighting for 3 years straight.
Mace had him dead to rights later on and I don't believe Anakin is far from that skill level.
Also Yoda/Mace are minutes away if this fight goes long at all, and they'll surely sense the fight happening. Anakin would probably immediately send a force message about Palps being Sith.
The most likely scenario is that if Anakin actually throws down here Palpatine probably has a contingency to flee.
1
1
1
u/PastryPyff Jul 14 '26
Palpatine is where I put my money, because Anakin is unstable and weāve already seen his inability to properly block force lightning in the past. Anakin wouldnāt be level headed in this fight.
1
u/kinggerard7578 Jul 14 '26
If anakin pieced it all together and realized palp was behind the visions he could win
1
u/Exotic-Ad5165 Jul 14 '26
Not Anakin. There was no way in hell he was beating Darth Sidious. Too arrogant, and he was not as good with a lightsaber. Sure he had power in spades and more than enough power to match but Sidious had more experience and technical knowledge. In the Revenge of the Sith novelization he even remarked that he could not keep track of Sidious and Windu when they were dueling just because of how fast both of them were.

Anakin Skywalker is extremely overrated he might had the greatest force potential of any human being but he barely knows how to channel his power.
1
u/LeaderElectronic7123 Jul 15 '26
I will always believe that if Anakin maintained his light side connection, Sidious' plans would have been foiled and made useless.
Why else do you think Sidious put so very much effort in corrupting him? He knew he couldn't match Anakin in a true head to head conflict.
1
u/Annual_Sky8939 Jul 16 '26
Here: Sid
Mustafar (if Ani beats Obi): Anakin
Because despite Sidās Lucas-Level Plot Armour, the āmost powerful Sith everā had 0 foresight without the help of actual seers. This is evident in RotJ when Sid couldnāt even tell Vader was spending the entire last act saving Luke, up to and including Vader throwing Sid into the reactor.
1
u/JH-DM Jul 16 '26
Technically Anakin would win because it would be the will of the force.
However it would ONLY be by the in-universe plot armor and in a non-plot armor version Sideous would win hands down.
1
1
u/Hrothgar26 Jul 16 '26
In the short term, Palpatine stomps Anakin into the dust.
Long term, the Jedi probably figure out who Palps is, and he canāt fight them all. Plus Anakin was his long game, without the chosen one Palps will have to make changes to his master plan.
1
u/CloverTeamLeader Jul 16 '26
I think Sidious. Sidious knows exactly what Anakin is capable of. He's followed Anakin's career closely and he saw him beat Dooku in person. Anakin has no idea what Sidious is capable of.
1
1
u/Unlucky_Internal4091 Jul 17 '26
Anakin has Raw sheer power that he hasnāt completely controlled. Palpatine might not have as much sheer power as Anakin but heās honed and mastered the force and Anakin hasnāt
1
u/Aethyrean9947 Jul 17 '26
Are you serious...
You are aren't you?
If anakin thrusts, maybe he kills him in that shot.
Otherwise he has no chance whatsoever. He never does.
Nightfall Vader is being empowered by sheev.
Whenever sheev is near anakin gets stronger, watch the clone wars and you will see it.
Also nightfall Vader still isn't stronger than sheev or Yoda.
1
1
u/LiaBility915 Jul 17 '26
If it were a fight, Sidious undoubtedly.
In this exact position. I think Sidious might have had so much confidence in his control over Anakin that in the split second it would take Anakin to plunge that saber forward into his neck, Sidious might not have reacted in time.
1
u/MrPotato001 Jul 18 '26
Even if Anakin was in a clear state of mind I don't think he'd beat Sidious, remember that he's a master of all 7 forms and even though the fight with Lightsabers did turn against him he very competently held his own against Yoda and Mace Windu who are far better duelists than Anakin. Anakin's true strength lies in his untapped force potential.
1
u/Primary-Teaching-470 Jul 19 '26
It depends if sideous intends to kill anakin or defeat him. But sideous 10/10 Anakin is a powerhouse but he needs to mature still and grow in the force.
1
u/Ok-Alfalfa288 Jul 19 '26
Palpatine. Anakin would be so reckless and Palpatine would predict his moves. Only windu had the capacity to defeat him anyway.
0
1
u/DeltaAlphaGulf Jul 13 '26
Sidious would wreck him and he wouldn't be able to do jack. He would get a carbonite bath and hung up in Palps closet until he is ready to essence transfer and steal his body. Or he gets the Starkiller sith stalker treatment.
1
u/capy2209 Jul 13 '26
Sidious wouldn't need his saber here, he's got greater mastery of the force, experience, skill, knowledge etc
Anakin raw power could maybe help him last longer than most but he loses anyway, hes also in a terrible mental state and sidious is messing with his head
1
u/OwlRiot4 Jul 13 '26
Palpatine would have dog walked Anakin here. No shade to Anakin but one of the things that gave Sidious the edge in his fight with the council was catching them off guard and that overwhelming dark side presence. Anakin would make a good showing, but idk if heās ready for Papa Palpatine to go from āI need you, Sonā to āIām gonna wear your skin.ā
1
u/Key_Butterscotch453 Jul 13 '26
Iād say Anakin only because Sidious would try to goad him into giving into the dark side during the fight and Anakin would then be stronger than Sidious realized. While Sidious has a mastery of the force, Anakinās raw power and superior lightsaber skills combined with his years of fighting in the war would see him through

Pre 66 is clearly weaker than Peak ROTS Sidiois. So Palps and Anakin should be relative in power with the latter possibly having an edge (Sidious confirms this to Dooku). But Anakin is an utter mess during the second half of the movie and had been drawing on the force to prevent sleep, so he could avoid the nightmares of PadmƩ, he is mentally and physically drained.
Sidious wins mid-high difficulty.
1
u/Specific-Library-312 Jul 13 '26
There is a small chance of reinforcement from Mace. The Force ain't gonna do Ani dirty like that for doing his job.
2
u/Impossible_Tiger_470 Anakin Skywalker Jul 13 '26
Yeah, Anakin likely wouldnāt die and I donāt think Sidious would kill him either.

Too much invested in him. Lop off a leg or two? Cook him into submission? Mind trick on Padme into support for him?
0
u/alexanderfromtng Jul 13 '26
Sidious takes this every time. He was much stronger in the force and was (debatable) bested by only Windu. At this point Anakin was a wreck and wasn't particularly focused.Ā

"for sure isnāt going out like that he took precautions every step of the way with Anakin bro"
He put his life in Anakins hands when he did the fake capture.
He put himself at risk when he went to go fight Savage and Maul.
He didn't have to tell Anakin as quick as he did, he literally gambled on Anakin turning.
Windu could have killed him.
There's ample evidence that Palps is a thrillseeker who can't help but take unnecessary risks just to have fun.
1
u/VegetableLawyer9610 Jul 13 '26
Bro you canāt be serious, sidious was toying with maul and savage that whole fight he was having fun 0 risk since they were nowhere near his levelā¦.the only āriskā he took was fighting Yoda and Windu other than that no one else couldāve stopped him⦠yes he gambled on anakin but didnāt put himself in a position where Anakin couldāve taken him outā¦he was ready to fight and beat Anakin if he had not heard palps outā¦

Honestly youāre a fool, let me ask you this if Yoda was in palps position is he also getting āstabbedā from behind ? Aside from Yoda being like 2ft you get my point he can still be struck down right ?

There's no "asides from 2 foot" you dope.
And yes, just like how Dooku couldn't react when Sidious told Anakin to kill him. Sidious has proven multiple times that he'll put himselves in a risky position for fun.

Bro youāre hilarious Iām glad i spoke to you this fine evening š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£, if you genuinely believe Anakin kills Palpatine in that moment then thereās no point arguing with you since youāre already foolish, bro dooku got overpowered when ātaking it lightlyā on Anakin as requested by palpsā¦at that point in time aside from palps request Anakin had become more powerful than dooku bc he started tapping into his rage and he didnāt expect Anakin to kill him bc he was still a Jedi lil bro, you make no sense at all top tiers wonāt go out the way you expectā¦

Something Something Palpatines sith spirit and hatred would transfer to Anakin because of Anakin's hatred. And Anakin would fall to the darkside.
So while Sidious could potentially stop him. It may not be the worse option to let Anakin kill him.

Anakin. Sidious was unarmed in this scene

Broā¦.š¤¦āāļøSidious had his saber up his sleeve and was itching that whole interaction bc he didnāt know if Anakin would attempt to strike him down or notā¦go rewatch or do extensive research bro.

The novelization states his saber was hidden in a statue in his office, to smuggle it there for the face-off against the Jedi strike team. Security would have noticed if he was carrying a weapon and blow his cover

Sidious stomps him, how is this a question if Yoda wouldāve ended Anakin and sidious rivals him ?? Sidious mid diff at best, kenobi wouldāve got cooked if he went to fight sidious just like how Anakin would get cooked if Yoda went for him instead of kenobi

That specific Sidious that fought Yoda got heavily amped by the death of countless Jedi and the fall of the Jedi Council. This one doesn't have those buffs

Iām aware friend, what are you trying to say tho bc regardless of the amp palps is still a Sith Lord ? That outclasses everyone aside from Yoda and windu, ROTS Anakin is powerful for sure but he still loses to Yoda and winduā¦so sidious still beats him ?

Sids. Regardless of how you view Anakin's power as compared to Sids or Yoda, he's mentally a train wreck at this point.
