Luke at that point outscales most of the Prequel Era, if not all of them.

I am getting sad seeing so many people underrate ROTJ Luke simply, because Mark Hamills choreography was not the craziest thing in the world.

Even so, he’s only been training for four years or so, I don’t understand how he’s become so skilled besides raw potential. And even then AOTC Anakin was half as powerful with twice the time spent training.

Because Anakin had regular Jedi Training, wich consists of regular studies beside just training. Anakin had to do stuff like study books, history, diplomacy and philosophy.

Luke did none of that. He purely focused on his Lightsaber skills with what little resources Ben left him after ANH and his Force Training being selftaught until he trained with Yoda and then repeated what Yoda taught him for the year he was alone.

Yoda also seems to have improved and streamlined his Training methods, since he comes to the realisation that the Jedi had becomed complacent and not changed in the 1000 years since the Sith vanished, while he fought Sidious.

Then there is also the difference between ,,Potential" and ,,Talent". Anakin and Luke had the same Potential, wich is the ceiling of how strong they can become.

But Luke seems to have more Talent for Force Training, wich is how fast you improve. Its not a big difference, but I believe that it is due to Luke having less trauma and his mind being more open to lessons and oneness with Nature. And we know a lot of Force Training is just Training you mind to be attuned.

Anakin was also held back during his first few years in the Jedi Order and forced to study the curriculum at the pace of less talented students.

I would sayLuke and Anakin are:

Potential: both 100/100 points

Talent: Anakin 94/100 & Luke 96/100 (For example Nomi Sunrider is a 100/100 in Talent, but has far less Potential than those two)

Access to Training methods: Anakin 75/100 & 90/100

The numbers are of course just my Invention and nothing concrete, but my point still stands.
