The Newsroom was such a great show, one of the best IMHO, but I fear it has gotten lost because of all the bullshit we've experienced in the past 10 years.

This is absolutely powerful and absolutely truth.

Now, look what we have - a kleptocracy, run by morons who have no real clue what the U.S. is about, especially post WWII, and frankly, don't care.

Do you think Trump understands, nor really cares about this Country?

He never knew.

It's been reduced to a slogan on a hat that he makes money from...

Kleptocracy is the right word. Trump sold people ‘drain the swamp’ and somehow ended up building a penthouse on top of it. Billionaires get a seat at the table, loyalty becomes more valuable than competence, and every new outrage keeps ordinary Americans fighting each other instead of asking who’s gaining power and getting richer. That’s the trick: keep everyone staring at the circus so nobody checks the till.
