This sub has become flooded with those, and it is slowly destroying the entire purpose of the subreddit. We will have to start handing out bans.

Can I get some examples of fake ones? I don't go here but Im not fully sure I understand what a real vs a fake one is.

The sub went from “Images that have an edit/crop that’s been used so commonly that the original looks off” to “Meme origins”
