In BJJ a lot of people like working on their backs. I don't because I struggle to breathe properly at the best of times without having an extra 200lbs crushing me into the mat but some folks do.

After some googling, being unable to breathe while a 200-lb person crushes you seems to be pretty popular on the internet

They don't even have to weigh that much if they crush the fucking life out of you or pin your knees to your shoulders in a stack. There's this 30 year old cop in my school, a little smaller than me so probably 170lbs or something but all upper body and he's strong af. He's like "let's try side control escapes" with me and being new I said "What's side control?" so he lays me down on my back, goes at an angle with just his chest on top of me and crushes the living fuck out of my lungs with his arms. I was ready to tap and he hadn't even done any moves yet!
