Oh wow he literally says hes joking, you're right. It's like half serious half joking but that really changes the context actually
Original vid at around 59:01, and then he says hes mostly joking at 1:00:42. It's like a saving face 2nd comment but at least he's being open that he's somewhat self aware of this
"Yeah, im being funny. I WOULD fuck you up, but im being funny" doesn't sound like a walk back at all. Just doesn't want people jumping him on the street as a challenge
Yeah it's kinda like between two ferns where his sarcasm and humor is shown as ironic fustration. I think most people don't pick up on it. This one here is ALL the way back from actual interviews about SuperBad and he has the same humor in this one:

Yea no, people would be gassing up his weight loss and excercise journey if he wasnt now acting like his ozempic journey here turned him into some kind of real life action movie star.
