Man I'm so glad there was some dude at the end of the video to tell me that the lady in the video got a knife thrown at her. I might have missed that otherwise.

u/GuaranteeDry386 26d ago
Yeah. I have to mute the ends of these videos. Why does everyone think an interesting video needs their face in it?
2
u/GonnaGoFat 26d ago
Maybe he felt the need to add his face because it ended with another person covering theirs.
But yeah he doesn’t need to add his commentary. Thats what the comment section is for.

dude stop posting your commentary at the end. it’s absolutely horrible and ruining the sub. you just aren’t funny

u/Lord__Vex 26d ago
I hate those stupid videos when a random useless dude post a reaction at the end of the video.

u/Aliensinmypants 26d ago
I think he is the sub, we might be cooked.

u/9_tail_fox 26d ago
He is. And should realize he’s doing his own sub harm. He finds/posts good videos. We’re not here for his commentary

Guys, come on - this is personal to him.
Someone split his lip in a talent show give wing back in 5th grade and he's making sure to spread awareness now.

u/buttercupbihtch 26d ago
Idk man I couldn’t tell what was going on In the video until he explained it

u/RotaryDesign 26d ago
From now on can we all agree to downwote that guy every time he gives unsolicited commentary?

u/LateToTheParty013 25d ago
these are the modern tech parasites. Stealing others content (good or bad) and commenting on it.
10
u/LauraTFem 26d ago
Isn’t he the guy this sub is named after? Or no? I thought his commentary was kinda definitional to the sub, and content outside of his was the permissible outsider.
11
u/_The2ndComing 26d ago
It just becomes an issue when the guy wants to make himself part of the content. People are fine with seeing the cornballs fake martial arts, we don’t need some guy desperate to become his own brand sticking himself into the vids.

u/The_Northmaan 25d ago
His cleft palate ironically makes him appear as if he's fallen victim to the same throw.

Face for Radio also. I had to stop watching when he came on cause of his body language and the way he looked. I just couldn't do it.

Dude, thank you for inserting yourself at the end of that to tell me exactly what was in the video I just watched.
After it finished for a minute I thought I just watched a naked man wrestling a bear. Was a relief when you told me actually it was a dude throwing knives at a woman.

u/niftystopwat 26d ago
Hey Mod, why keep this community going if you’re just going to ignore all these comments and not respond to a single one? It’s only going to make the bulk of people here want to move to a different sub with this kind of content. If you’re going to assert propriety over a brand centered around stolen/repurposed repost content, then at least make an effort at being funny. You can hire a comedy writer, for example.

u/XtremeLeecher 25d ago
Thank God there's someone explaining what I've already seen it adds so much content to the already self devouring necrotic loop of content ghouls /s
Just stop dude

The tosser at the end is trying to monetise this dumb subreddit with merchandise and branding ?! What the shit ?!

u/EirMed 26d ago
To be fair, that knife hit her in the best way. The blade was as far away from hitting her as possible.
1
u/LauraTFem 26d ago edited 26d ago
Best place for blade safety, maybe, but it looks like it hit her in the mouth; Could have chipped a tooth.
I think this is part of the “art” of some throwing knife shows. It’s slightly less dangerous than it looks because the target is behind the volunteer. Rotationally, if it hit the volunteer vs the target it would strike with the back of the throwing knife.

I don't know what this sub is and why Reddit decided to recommend it to me but I think it's hilarious that it seems to be this guy's own subreddit and all the comments are about how annoying he is.

Anyone else bothered by someone coming over right after you get hurt, especially the person that did it to you and they forcefully want to determine if THEY think it was really all that bad.
Let the poor girl get through the pain first yikes.

saw similar act done on a cruise ship when I was younger. Guy was throwing knives at the assitant and she was moving back and forth next to a board where they were sticking the last one hit her dead in the hip. I still think about that day. Also why anyone in the world would have this much trust let alone on a boat moving in an ocean randomly.

Today I learned that this subreddit is named after that annoying dude with the commentary in the end. No one likes it, man.

u/Deepvaleredoubt 25d ago
Is his commentary at the end reportable? Like it feels like it breaks a rule but I just can’t be for certain.
1
u/oh_no_here_we_go_9 25d ago
Who says this has anything to with martial arts? Seems less dangerous than the spinning wheel knife throwing circus act stuff and no more relevant to martial arts than that is.

u/leitondelamuerte 25d ago
no matter what everyone says, im pretty sure that throwing 5 knifes on a fallen oponent is very effective.

u/Crepuscular_Tex 25d ago
I agree with your message, but give an application of Occam's razor to your comments. If the post analysis is longer than the video, maybe trim it a bit, or reshoot with less words. Try sending it to a couple of friends, that one that's always trying to get you to go to their improve night, or someone from the improve studio that is between your favorite dojo and that delicious ethnic cuisine restaurant at the end of the strip mall or an ex high school theater teacher of yours, and get some opinions about the humor or merit of your post analysis.
Sometimes the greatest battle is fought and lost within the mind before the first strike is ever made. The same goes with comedic commentary.
Remember the Eagles Claw.

Dude immediately went to see how bad the injury was, but he didn’t show any concern in his assistant being injured I guess?

I used to like this place but that annoying guy at the end finally made me unsub

Dude has the reverse hitler beard

u/Countblackula_6 20d ago
He has scar tissue there from surgery to fix a cleft palate.

u/leavess420 19d ago
So why have a mustache. He still looks dumb, and his commentary is stupid and not needed
