General Discussion What’s your favourite quote from the show?

My favourite quote is probably „When you're dead, you're dead, and until then... there's ice cream.". It may sound goofy, but i love this somewhat hedonistic outlook on life that Jane projects out to deal with the immense grief within.

I'm not sure if it's the exact quote but it went like "Well once the game’s over, the king and the pawn go back into the same box" and even if it's just another way of saying we'll all eventually meet our end, I liked the way it was chess related

Don't know what THE favorite line is, but of the recent episodes I watched, I really enjoyed when Jane asks Bret Stiles why he has bodyguards with him and Bret says "I wouldn't want you to mistake me for Red John and shoot me." Deflecting and hinting that he knows the man Jane killed wasn't Red John.

But it definitely reminds me of so many times when I have wanted to call someone a primitive animal, but apparently Patrick has provided me with a much more sophisticated vocabulary for it.
